| THE LAST NAIL TO BE BANGED INTO 2019 GAMES COFFIN Man, in the middle JOHN BUSBY
In 22 games he yellow carded 87 and issued 5 red cards
Assisted by Justin Amey and Simon Shaw
Fourth Official Richard Hulme Stevenage on ArgyleThe Pilgrims started the season as favourites to be crowed champions come the end of the season, with two opening wins against their promotion rivals Crewe Alexandra (3-0) and at home to Colchester (1-0). However, the team dropped crucial points in September – picking up just one win in five games and a month later, they were left humiliated in a 4-0 loss in the Devon Derby away at Exeter, and are now eleven points behind 1st place Swindon Town. They do boast one of the best home records in the league with just one defeat in ten games played at Home Park, losing 2-0 to another promotion candidate Cheltenham Town. Plymouth did get revenge on The Robins on Boxing Day when Rangers loanee Zak Rudden scored the only goal of the game in the first-half. Star Man Plymouth’s number 7, Antoni Sarcevic, has been an influential figure in central midfield with his attacking runs and eye for a goal, and is currently the club’s top goal scorer this season with five goals in the league. The 27-year-old is now into his fourth season at Home Park, he closely followed by Danny Mayor and George Cooper, they are both talented attacking players Their ManagerRyan Lowe was appointed Manager at the start of the season after Derek Adams was dismissed of his duties following relegation. Lowe, who was an ex-player as Gigg Lane, guided Bury to their tremendous promotion to League One after finishing 2nd in the league below last campaign; was named Manager of the Month on three occasions which caught the eye of many teams perusing his signature. No news on team or injuries Argyle view on StevenageStevenage are the next hurdle for Argyle to overcome and manager Ryan Lowe is expecting a very different test to the one faced in the Boxing Day victory at Cheltenham, or on New Year’s Day, when Swindon visit Home Park. Unlike the Robins of Cheltenham and Swindon, Stevenage are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table and have turned to Graham Westley for his fourth spell as manager. Stevenage will be solid; they will be resolute and they’ve got some older pros in there. We treat everyone the same, they might have a different style to Cheltenham or the way Swindon will be but as long as we focus on ourselves, we will be ok. Manager Ryan Lowe welcomed the specialist team from Marjon to aid recovery on Friday and Saturday will be about a short, sharp spell on the training pitch. The key is the recovery, making sure you get the recovery into the lads,” said Ryan. “We had them out yesterday, doing a bit of work on the grass and a bit of fun. We had Marjon down, a lot of sports therapists for the lads to have a massage, so a big thank-you to them. It’s about rest and recovery, get plenty of fluids and food in them. We are out on the grass today, short and sharp work. Team injuriesTHE Argyle treatment room news that wing-back Callum McFadzean will not be back in action until the end of January. Ryan Taylor is also out but his current use of crutches and a protective slipper is just a precaution for his foot injury. Defender Will Aimson, meanwhile, is expected to be back toward the end of January, as he battles a pelvic problem. Ryan Lowe has hinted that Josh Grant and Zak Rudden will have their Plymouth Argyle loan spells extended. Grant and Rudden were signed in August on deals until January, from Chelsea and Glasgow Rangers respectively. Argyle expecting a biggest crowd tomorrow (11500) hope for more. All 4 target Travel buses will be running Score I am going for a 4 - nil win Facts taken from around the web

| Now coming into the bottom beats top phase of the season, so given Stevenage have only scored 14 in 22 games I would like to think we will get three pts today which should put Argo right in the play off mix on 38pts. |

| This is Argo. Big crowd plus big expectation = big disappointment. Stevenage don't concede many away and will be rejuvenated by their new (returning manager). Can't see anything other than Stevenage getting their first away win of the season.
Argo 0-2 Stevenage |

| Says it all about Ryan Lowe and the Pffft factor that our star man is Sarcs with his five goals. Don't get me wrong I've always loved Sarcs, every team needs one but with him as top scorer it makes you wonder why we bothered with the Bury bheys? |

| We will stuff them btw. Ive gone for 3 1 although I wouldn't be surprised if we kept a clean sheet. First goal will be important I feel their main brief will be park that feckin bus. |

You are probably correct in that assumption. Can't see Argyle losing this one though, get an early goal - or two - and that will take any wind out of the Stevenage sails. If Argyle are serious about getting promotion, then games like this must be won and comfortably at that. |

| 65% - 35% possession to Argo - need that 2nd goal though, or else could be squeaky bum time later on. |
