Call for six month mankover delay

What gets me some are asking why Highways England are asking for traffic surveys around manadon roundabout during rush-hour. Well idiots if you add a further 200 people who work at home park that's maybe a extra hundred cars using manadon roundabout. When I go to work in the morning if I don't get past manadon junction by about 745 the traffic queues are huge sometimes queued back to Marsh Mills. Need I say anymore

Exactly, Lawny. Not forgetting the people working at the ice rink, hotel etc. And all the people going to events and conferences: there's space for 800 covers in there.

Never mind that, there's people supporting the development because they think the club will derive income from the offices, gym, restaurants......

So worst case scenario there could be over a 1000 cars trying to park in the main public/park and ride car park. that will not work.

More to the point where does this shyster Brent get off on the fact he believes a public car park in situ free of charge for longer than hes been born should suddently be available for his commercial benefit. Feck off Brent you cnut

because he believes that publicly owned assets are there to be used for his own personal enrichment, it's part of the being an Etonian banker thing that Nool has no problem with. Although goodness knows what our (ex)socialist President thinks.

He wants to shrink the park. His idea of city green spaces is to monetise them with commercial activity. He actually thinks he knows best, the man who helped big time in racking up 50 billion dollars of debt.
And like that debt, he won't be around when the park degrades from his input. He'll be long gone.

That is all very well, but just where could they build a new stadium for Argyle, there are not the sizable places for it unless you build out of town. Perhaps some local farmers might sell some land for such a grand development.

This won't get built at all I'm thinking. Yet again Brent is looking for other peoples money and I don't think it will turn up again. The sad thing is I broadly support the mankover as opposed to Ministand, we have the funding thanks to community Si but it is now looking like all we will be doing is paying £250k a year for the loan whilst the Mankover gets delayed by lumping it in with all the overdevelopment of the land he asset stripped from the club. As soon as he sequestered the car park any sane individual should have seen the writing on the wall, Brent first PAFC second.
The momentum of the promotion last year has been lost by diverting money from the squad into more fees for the building all with the eye on the 2020 prize. 2020 btw is only two and a half years away, I'll be amazed if anything is started by then let alone finished, James Brent get out of my club.
