| That's the whole problem though Suffs, in one way we need to have something built on HHP, it looks like Brent will be arsing about with this present scheme for the next couple of years, it doesn't happen because he doesn't get funding, this will be blamed on us, planners, highways, vileness ect. Brent will then have nowhere to go with it other than to sell HHP to someone who can afford to develop it and we will then be at their mercy. We need something to be built that doesn't feck the football club and also so we can get back to just being a football club feck me but it's been a long long time since we were just that. |

| I never did understand the ins and outs of it, but didn't the Trust manage to get the whole lot put under an Asset of Community Value ruling. Perhaps someone knows the implications of this. |

| The ACV could be an unexpectedly significant element in this process.
When ACV status was granted, following an application by the AFT, it included both Home Park and HHP, a decision that surprised some and irritated others.
Now that land is the subject of a proposal for a private commercial development, its ACV status causes a philosophical problem for PCC, the authority that awarded it - because to approve a speculative development with no obvious community benefit goes against the spirit of both an ACV and the Localism Act.
Interesting. |

| I thought the ACV primarily concerned itself with ensuring the trust had a chance to bid - which could be dismissed no matter what it was?
Has anyone any specfic details as to what the ACV does contain? |

Now you have pointed it out, it seems very obvious doesn't it. Good comments tend to do that. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]This bit sticks out Q7. Would the chairman reconsider his plans for Higher Home Park and allow the club to buy this land back. I believe that any development on this site should be for the sole benefit of the club, as well as allowing us the space to eventually develop a modern 21st century Grandstand. I believe that PAFC owning HHP would be hugely beneficial for the long term prospects of the club and eventually provide a generous source of non match day income. A. Part of the HHP land has always been committed to the delivery of a new ice arena for the people of Plymouth. This commitment remains. The Chairman would be willing to sell the residual land back to the Club at fair value but it is unlikely that the Board would wish to proceed with the acquisition given the other opportunities to invest in the Club. So at a huge profit then. |

Build something on HHP for the benefit of the club? How's about a supporters club facility like Walsall have? I was very impressed with it. Or Crawley's Redz Bar. |

| Herald still acting as Akkeron's mouthpiece, I see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] To save anybody going over there, it's mostly about the jobs that might be created by the development. Jobs which could of course be created somewhere else than in a public park - and somewhere with parking. |

Would love to know what his back up plan is if he builds this crap but the Buisnesses decide to set up shop in the city for example, |

| 23 objections, 25 in support so far.
The objections are varied, well thought out and presented eloquently and professionally.
I can't quite say the same about those in support:
'In my opinion the objections received do not come from real fans of the club, moreover there is evidence on social media that they are from individuals with a personal vendetta against the owner of the football club. "
Oh dear.

how the feck will Brenty's pension make money from a bar at home park? Hopefully it will only make the money back that he bought the land for, and the club benefits from the rest! I know it'll never happen because that pot is all that counts. such a shame. |

I sent an additional question (to my already listed objection) by physical post to ensure that PCC are aware that an ACV is in existance reference HHP. I'm sure they are but no harm in bringing it up..... I sent it recorded delivery should be there today but will track tomorrow to confirm. |

26 against It shows Brent have not got the support from the Argyle fans. With the Herald running stories at his whim, the pig master Pisspot fighting his master corner, his cheer leaders of the senior greens and the all sing dancing green taverners. and they could only match us and AFC on 26 each. |

| What makes Mr Ian White from Swindon think that people are opposing the plans are not true Argyle fans and have a personal vendetta against the owner of the club. IF the plans for HHP were going to benefit the football club in any shape or form then I would give them wholehearted support. My concern is that they will have a very negative effect on the club, not just in the short term either. |
