| I see the green taverners have applied for a new planning application due to changes from original. Shame someone can't spell taverners. FFS. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Went to have a shuftie while having a coffee. They've removed the wrap around first floor terrace, and the limestone cladding around around the southern entrance. Looks like a bit of 'value engineering'. |

| If it looks like a shipping container... If it feels like a shipping container... Then it must be a shipping container... |

| Nothing wrong with shipping containers - I've seen some fantastic buildings that started life as containers!
I'd be interested to know if the budget has gone down, or if quotes have come in higher than expected. As it stands, this feels like the way some of the more cynical planning applications are done: get approval for better, higher quality materials/design features*, establish the basic principal, and then race to the bottom with cheaper revisions.
(*yes, I know it was pretty unlovely to begin with, but I thought the terrace was a good idea.) |

| I should also point out, in defence of designers everywhere, that most of the time this is led by the client. Most of us frilly-shirted artsy types start out wanting do design something beautiful, but work like this pays the bills. |

| The people who invested must be frankly shitting themselves over this fiasco. Gary McGuire come on here and explain the lies and delays we have seen to date. Does Brent have his sticky paws on the investors money in any shape or form. Where is the client money now Why 2 months after it was supposed to be up and running are you just getting around to applying for planning permission.....again |

| Conditions could be anything, drains (dare I say it?) access, landscaping ect. All pretty standard and should be on file with application. |

It was a (Semi) loaded question of mine since the condition is No 19 - Drainage, but what does this mean? can they build it? open it and use it without completing the drainage works? |

| It's still the drains.
Likely to be so for some time by the looks of it.
I'm not sure that the bar can go ahead until this is sorted because if it does go ahead and then it is not... |

I'm not sure that the bar can go ahead until this is sorted because if it does go ahead and then it is not... The same drains that Brent has known about for 322 days but has done precisely nothing SWW have completed their side of the work (apparently) Brents part untouched |
