| Someone on Pasoti started a decent thread asking why on earth we havent got a Clock come Scoreboard as part of the ground or in the proposed refurbishment as even 7th and 8th tier clubs possess one....good question the reality is that Brents as tight as a duck arse but then that roaster Xisle chips in......I give up I really do
"Has anyone struggled to remember the score?, or been completely bereft of a timepiece of their own? No. We have missed out on nothing there."
Only in the world of Jimmy could a cretin come up with that. Throbbing Bellend |

Ian initially had this tagged onto another thread, but I thought it important enough to create a thread.
There was a very good and detailed Grandstand Committee meeting today, and once again, the needs of our disabled fans were discussed at great length.
Great to see the club taking into account so many different aspects of us Argyle fans.
Lots of good news to come.

So then Mr Nool any chance of sharing any of this exciting news with the wider fanbase or are you still being made to wear your JimmyGag? Is "good news" to become the new "first in football"?

Throbbing Bellend I can only assume if we did ever get a proper owner with class, vision and ambition who invested in the team and infrastructure this 'Xisle' character would be anti everything the owner did. As it seems would many of the regulars on JBsoti. |

| Still Harve, their weekend may be joyous if we beat the mighty Rochdale and get off the bottom of the third tier of football. After all Argyle are 'punching above their weight' and we ' dont ave the muney do we'. We are Plimuff argo and we'll always be shit. |

| I loved the way hat one of the Nool mod pack/multi's immediately chip in with a "fact" about electronic scoreboards not working in the sea air then someone almost immediately puts up a pic of an electronic scoreboard 650m away from the sea! Talk about desperation, it's also worth noting that Nools reply to Posteys original quote that now deserves its own thread has recieved zero replies. |

| Just watched most of the Brent propaganda video on todays Brentherald, didn't watch all of it because my laptop was at risk of being heaved across the room. Well at least he said there was no money for phase 2 and of course £5M was not penny pinching and represented a substantial investment (loan) because the asbestos ridden rust heap needs a new roof. He said work would start at beginning of 2018, more mutterings about Exeter Chiefs etc etc. Watch this space eh? Everytime I hear him speak he gets creepier and creepier. Feck off Brent and take your shit plans with you.

Every schoolboy knows there are no electronic devices within 50 miles of the English coastline. I saw over the FA Cup weekend, even the mighty Guiseley AFC have an electronic scoreboard and clock. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| It's notable how often those rollers crash in off the channel and break right over the top of the stadium, isn't it? I bet whoever it was that coined the "salty sea air" excuse all those years ago couldn't believe that they got away with it at the time and here we are 30 years later and it still holds. Amazing. Grimsby Town have one. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Grimsby's stadium, the closest to the sea in English football, is almost literally a McCormick goal kick away from the North Sea. | You don't really need a scoreboard unless your a bit 'special' but a clock would be useful. |

| They even come off the peg. Exchange rate boards too, maybe that would be more to the squire's interest. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I like this one, kinda apt in the circumstances. Stick it up by the family enclosure . | Much as I love baiting the Sir Bojo of Akkeron I feckin hate those scoreboards, a clock is alright and I think it can aid the ref to call it quits on time instead of giving the big teams extra minutes to get the result they deserve. |

| Looks like a complete mess. But this isn't about building anything though, it's about increasing the land value to sell for profit once it's all approved. |

| Still think of the kudos if it does go ahead - in a couple of years Argyle will be the only non league club with an ice rink. Class. |

Are these the posters that have appeared at HP and the Pavilions? Appeared too late for anybody to make a comment to the decision-makers? |
