Another load of nonsense. Ive posted the figures for fishing up above. Bear in mind the south west is a major player in the fishing industry it may not put loaves or fishes on your table but spare a thought for the many people that depend on it. You'd have to be mental to think that having control of the massive resource that is our fishing grounds is a bad thing.

There's ears worrying about everybody else!

You couldn't make it up.

He's the very epitome of "I'm all right, Jack, and I'm pulling the ladder up behind me".

It wasn't so long ago he was saying he didn't care if everything did go tits up because he was going to be alright.

Or was that the poster known as Iggy?

You have no idea about what puts loaves and fishes on my table.

None whatsoever.

It went up from a previous days close of 1.148 to 1.159 against the Euro.

A year later it was 1.139.

What point were you trying to make? "Economic Carnage" it certainly isn't.

SFD's own little "Project Fear" falling apart.

Big big shit...

I'm pretty sure that I was using your logic that voting is a selfish thing which I guess it is. But then you can see it was a wind up as above you recognise that I'm worrying about everybody else. Thnx.
So no comment on the fishing industry then? Or do you just not care?

Oh but I do because someone told me. I also know you are not on the minimum wage.
So no comment on regaining our fishing waters? Your only argument that we don't eat much fish is a pretty shite one. It's looking more and more like you only care about your own above minimum wage position.

75% of the fish landed in UK waters goes to the EU. 90% of the Cod we import comes from Iceland and Norway.

We'll have to get used to eating Cuttlefish.

There's a good reason why we import Cod from Iceland and Norway because we've fished a load of ours out. Ice land fought the Cod wars with us and after seizing control of their waters stocks are massive and sustainable. What possible argument could you have for us not doing the same?

You have still to prove why we are better off with everybody else having access to our waters? Shout straw man all you like but so far your typical remain argument revolves around, immigration, it's all about race and immigration, we don't need our fish anyway and the economy was going to collapse the day after the ref, it didn't, then when A50 was activated, it didn't.
I've yet to hear you even reply to most of the points the leavers have highlighted, you are in denial.

I think the onus is on Leave to make the case that we will be better off to be honest.

And all they have come up with was the DExEu report compiled under David Davies that shows us being worse off under ever scenario with the amount of damage done increasing according to how hard the Brexit is.

Only a day or two ago even Jacob Rees-Mogg said it could take 50 years to see the benefit by which time we'll be so far behind we'll never catch up. Not in my lifetime anyway.

Because its only 0.5% of the UK economy and I don't give enough of a shit.

Anyway What about our access to French, Norwegian and Irish water where we also land our fish?

Iceland and Norway aren't in the EU but are in the single market and also schengen. Both contribute towards the EU but have no say how it is spent. Oddly back in the dim and distant past we were told that both countries were a shining example as to why Brexit would be a success. Now we're being told that no deal is the only true brexit

Let's face facts here: if Brexit was being externally imposed then the word we'd be using is "sanctions".

Another point of interest is that the deal we end up with (or not) will all be entirely the fault of EU's bastard negotiators or Theresa May's incompetence and nothing to do with us.

So much for that famed "taking back control", eh?

Our fishing waters have been drained of fish not just by us but by the EU taking over chunks of it....we might have to defend them rigorously against future EU fishing Fleets....oh I forgot we haven't got any Navy/Coastal defences etc anymore....or Air Force....we might have to buzz them with the Red Arrows....that might stop them flying over my place so regularly doing low passes over Biggin Hill.

Any sign of economic Armageddon yet Frank? From the Beeb,

A million public sector workers are to receive their biggest pay rise in nearly 10 years, the government says.
It includes 2.9% extra this year for the armed forces, 2.75% for prison officers and up to 3.5% for teachers.

No wonder you don't care.

What assumption is it now? Just pointing out that public sector workers have just been given a pay rise which is not in line with the financial Armageddon you prophesised.

It’s fine for Frank the bigot to assume anyone that voted leave is a racist, fuckwit, uneducated or any other derogatory term that he reads in the Guardian but don’t assume anything about him ever, EVER !
He’s always been very touchy about that.

Here's the future that matters.
No matter what the outcome of all this crap, once the UK has left the EU, what's the betting little will change for Joe normal and you'll be branded a terrorist if you don't go along with the initial steps of the westminster palace, whichever party can muster a working majority, a sort of 10 year moratorium on democratic dissent of any kind that supposedly fecks our new world attempts to make these islands big again.. And so it will go on, and another couple of decades will pass bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What did sterling do when A50 was triggered?

Not much, if you checked it out, there was more of an effect following the referendum result, in fact the Sterling to Euro rate in 2009 and 2010 was lower than today’s rate, so not sure what conclusion can be drawn about the effects on the rate following article 50

@MattHancock : "The department is working up options with industry for stockpiling medicines, medical devices and substances of human origin in the case of a no-deal Brexit. Obviously there will be a cost for this."

This is the Government saying this, not the "Remoaner" Press, the actual secretary of state for Health and Social Care.

Anyone that doesn't think a no deal Brexit is not going a national crisis needs to wake up.
