| Poor game, argyle played some good football but were too often let down by a poor final ball. Can't see argyle reaching the play offs if this is the regular side.
Good to catch up with alanotivvy and meet bbc1. |

| Agree with Chem. A pretty 'meh' kind of game. Highlight was bumping into BBC1 and the junior DRF. Looked out for al but he managed to avoid me.
The game itself was pretty forgettable, no real stand out performances. Even though he scored the goal, Goodwillie looks a tad, er, chunky and definitely on the slow side. Songo'o did o'ok. That's about it really. Anyone who spent the afternoon watching grass grow or paint dry got the better deal. |

| Geddon fellas. Did BBC1 have his green suit on? Like a cannabis munching Cornish buster bloodvessel.
One of life's good guys. |

One of life's good guys. It was the flowery floppy hat and the blue and white Hawaiian shirt that made him stand out in the crowd. He looked like the Lord Mayor of Miami Beach. |

Rather than battering pub teams by 7 8 or 9, this is a more realistic marker of where we are.
Exciting innit. Conference |

Every pre season it's the same, people reading all kinds of scenarios into the results of these games. Please get a grip the result of these games mean feck all given all managers are experimenting with players and formations. The only indicator for the coming season is looking at results after TEN games. |

Few years back pre-season was:Argyle defeat St Blazey 1-0 Argyle win 3-1 at Tiverton Argyle tour ended P4 W0 D2 L2 Argyle draw 2-2 with Charlton Athletic Luggy Mk 1 said''Friendlies are friendlies, at the end of the day,” he added. “No judgement can be made whether we’ve progressed – we could go out and be poor on Saturday. We just got it right on the night. These games are practice matches – they are not friendlies – they are practice matches. There’s no judgement on it'' First 4 games of the season was P4 W0 D1 L3 End of season? Top with 102 points. |

| I mostly gave up on friendlies years and years ago.
There's many reasons to go to them, and I was tempted to pop along to Torquay just to have a look at our new players but thought better of it in the end, but seeing a proper competitive game is not one of them and I'd consider anything approaching entertainment to be a plus if I did go.
They just don't matter and you can't read much into them.
Friendlies are just a day out with mates in the sunshine (if you are lucky) with the added excuse to have a beer for fans and players alike really.

| I was reading it was 5-5 elsewhere !! Looks like slight increase in quality of the oppositions and Jimmys misfits start to show us where we'll end up this season mid table at best with Adams gone by Christmas |

| Its ok beating pub sides by cricket scores but the first pro side they meet which struggled to stay in the National league last season yeah it is some concern be it only a friendly..concerned that these cheap replacements mite just be not good enough |

| i dont get why some think results of friendlies matter over the actual point of pre season which like it or not fitness and preparation for the new season ahead where the results actually matter more. |
