| Jeez looking at those figures, you can see why overseas rich owners who fancy a flutter and a bit of a UK experience, do a Blackpool, and then squeeze the playing budget and cut them adrift as soon as they get to the promised land, taking their corporate welfare payments with them for at least 4 years. It's an open goal. It's not even a gamble in the true sense. |

Arsenal getting more money than Leicester for finishing 2nd seems odd. |

| Do the "facility fees" have anything to do with the "UK Live" column? |

Profit at stadium, gate receipts, merchandise, corporate etc, etc perhaps? I think you're right there Les, looking at what clubs get what, Newcastle right down the bottom with big facility fees is the giveaway. |

| Is the "facility fee" how much they get paid according to how many times they have been screened on Live TV? |

I reckon that's right, as it looks proportional to the UK Live column... |

| I think you've cracked it, Innocent. Madness money. If it wasn't for football, Murdoch would be shelf stacking. Interesting to see the philosophy of individual worth and community agreement in monetary terms. Thanks for that Sir Frank. Apart form the ludicrous amounts, and those outside the castle walls, the sharing out between the PL clubs themselves seems about to have the right weighting. |

That's the frustrating part about Murdoch, isn't it? The gamble on football was the last roll of the dice - prior to that the satellite offering was dying on its ass. The entire business has been built on those rights. Very little creative about that. Wouldn't be so hard to stomach if he wasn't such an odious twat, who only has contempt for the UK anyway. Watching the Hillsborough documentary makes me want to dig both his and Kelvin Mackenzie's eyes out with rusty spoons. I'd add in Peter Hitchens too, just to make it an unholy trinity. I digress though. |

| Easy come easy go - I'm guessing those figures barely cover each clubs first team squad salary bill |
