Just as bigger draw as last year with the acts all rushing to sign up lol.Kudos to the organizers of this though as they manged to sell it out without announcing the acts which i believe the event would have struggled to sellout till the day otherwise.

Act One-Tinie Tempah who had one hit with this and the tune sky sports uses and that's about it really.

Act Two - Jess Glynne a newcomer really in the buisness who had a hit with this last year and the latest one hold my hand.

Act Three- TBA

Act Four - TBA

Jess Glynne is probably best known for doing the lead vocals for Rather Be by Clean Bandit.

Jess Glynne the headline act of this event has had to pull out due to surgery on her throat.

Not heard if any other acts have been confirmed bar tinie tempah and her (day 2 is a different event) so the event organisers have got some work to do to fill the 3 remaining slots.

Why the council had to sign a deal with MTV to host this event till next year over bidding for a Radio 1 one big weekend which would haved pulled in far bigger crowds, biger acts and far more money and it would have been for free too.

The Hoe is a fantastic venue for a gig like the MTV one. The Council quite rightly snapped the hand off MTV when the chance came to host the event again.

Radio 1's big weekend is a completely different level and size of event. Loads of acts over multiple stages - not an event that could ever be staged on the Hoe.

mtv isnt popular enough these days to put on a show like radio one's. These mtv is more into producing reality shows these days over music.
