Quite a healthy lineup this year, I'm looking forward to getting totally wrecked for the next 3 days and watching as much of it as I can

I have no love for this festival anymore especially when they go and put a gay fish like kanye west as its headline act. The guys ego is out of this world and music is very poor. sadly the festival could be amazing but all the media will report is on the gay fish and his hobbit wife.
As for the who i want to know where this book is pete townsnd that you claimed you were writing to justify all that child porn you downloaded.

It's packed full of unthreatening music for middle class posers who'd rather listen to some whiny ginger midget with an acoustic guitar warbling on and on about his ex-girlfriend, rather than open their minds to anything vaguely challenging - look at the reaction to Metallica last year and Motorhead this year.
Glastonbury has become the festival equivalent of Smooth FM.

it has lost its identity now. Its trying to hard to be please and cater to every type of genre rather than stick to the formula that made it world famous.

I had never heard of Kanye West before he met that Wannabe Kardashian. I must get out more. Tell me and I'm being serious just who are these Kardashians ? Why did they come to have a tv series ?? I know Jenner got involved no doubt prompting his cash for gash gender re assignment but I have no idea where they came from or why.

It can cater to every type of genre because it is so big and there are so many stages, obviously not all the acts will be to everyone's taste but with such a massive list of performers, if you can't find anything that floats your boat you must be extremely narrow minded musically.

There are a family are infamous as the dad (real dad not the gender bender who was a gold medallist) got OJ Simpson off and Kim was a pornstar.

who wants to watch BURT BACHARACH open for kanye :O
Having looked at the line up in full for the 3 days on all the stages there are only a few acts i'd pay to sleep in a field next to hippies to see.
Paul Weller, James Bay, Chemical Brothers, Jessie Ware, Ben Howard, Ryan Adams, Maccabees, Paloma Faith, Hozier, Lionel richie, George Ezra and rudimental.
All the others i either never heard their stuff, 50/50 whether i would want to watch or not or dont like their music at all.

Its not really about the main acts. Its about being as bombed as possible and going about all the minority stuff checking out the comedy and the circus acts.
Before all that though there's the cost of a ticket and all round ballache of getting a ticket as since the new fence went up you can no longer bunk or scam your way in for nowt. Then there's the price of food and drink.
I can't really be doing with spending 4 days with no decent bogs, loads of middle class muppets in Cath Kidston and Hollister pretending to be crusties and being cold and wet or hot and dehydrated depending on the weather. Not for that amount of money, feck that.
Just have to put up with bloody Jo Whiley and Lauren Laverne now.

My first gig was seeing Motorhead at the Plymouth Pavilions several years ago when I was 14, my ears are still ringing. My mates and I thought it'd be a good idea to stand at the front, right next the whopping feck off big speaker. Was feckin awesome mind.

I've played there a few times, usually to about 20 people.
There are still good acts there - look out for The People's String Foundation and 3 Daft Monkeys.

Late Registration was a great album.
Kanye himself is a prize cnut, though.

i thought they were one of the worse acts live i have ever seen. It was like listening to someone mumble in audibles into a microphone in lieu of remembering any of the lyrics.
In fact here is a good example of what they were like

I love my metal, but Motorhead have never really fired my imagination. Maybe it's time to give them another try. I'm definitely with Angry here.

Fair do's. As a 14 year old at my first gig it would have taken a lot to leave me disappointed, I was so excited going in and I felt they put on a great show to entertain me throughout. Its not up there in my top 5 gigs, but that doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable and they've got some awesome feckin tracks.

Quadrophenia is my favourite Who album and is definitely in my top 5 of all time by any artist, absolutely brilliant and not a bad song on it which is very rare as albums go.
