And then 50% of that total goes to paying down the PAFC debt which doesn't benefit the playing side of the club, but certainly enhances the value of Jimmy's and Si's investment. In effect, it goes in their pocket, given the way the budget is planned. Nice work if you can get it.
As Jimmy says, football is all about being careful and austere, and then getting lucky. He probably gets more bang for his buck at PL2 than he gets from growing food in his "world wide agriculture".
