| Head on the chopping bloke time: I am going for a 2-1 win to Argyle. Matt will grab the first in under ten minutes, Pompey get level shortly after the second half starts, before Carey grabs Argyle's second late in the game.

| Police prepared for Plymouth and Portsmouth play-off Generic 3 Kicks off at 6pm and gates open at 4.30pm
Police in partnership with Plymouth Argyle FC have put in place plans to make sure one of the biggest matches of the season is remembered for the excitement of the club’s shot at Wembley.
On Sunday 15 May, Argyle hosts Portsmouth for the second round of the League 2 playoffs for a chance to play at Wembley. The club is expecting the ground to be full to its 15,600 match capacity.
Match Commander Superintendent Glen Mayhew said: "I’d like to encourage supporters to arrive at the ground in plenty of time. This is an all-ticket match and none will be available on the day. If you don’t have a ticket, please don’t come to the ground.
“Supporters must be aware that home stewards will be robust and turn away anyone if they are drunk even if they have obtained their tickets in advance. Taking alcohol into the ground is and could be treated as a criminal offence.”
Supt. Mayhew said: “We’re working closely with the club to make sure that supporters coming to the match arrive, watch the match and leave, safely. I send a clear message now that if anyone at the match or in the town is intent on causing problems they will be dealt with robustly.”
Those who choose to cause problems face a lengthy football banning order of up to ten years. This is the biggest policing operation for a football match for Devon and Cornwall Police this season, with policing support from across the Force involving 150 officers.
Supt. Mayhew said: "I want everybody to have an enjoyable time in Plymouth, whether local to Devon or visitors. We know the vast majority of fans are coming to watch a match that is going to have a stupendous atmosphere, and we do not expect disorder.
“Having said that if there’s a minority that are intent on disruption then this will not be tolerated, they’ll be dealt with quickly and firmly.” |

| FOR THESE IN BLOCKS 1 TO FIVE Tomorrows display will be in Blocks 1-5. If you can help us set up please come to the Devonport End from 10am tomorrow morning. Thank you for your continued support, without you the displays wouldn't happen. For those that have bought stuff to throw (balloons, tape etc) we need to decide when this will be done. I would suggest after the display, standso when the team is running toward the demport and clapping the fans, we lower the sheets, and start the balloons, toilet roll, tape throwing etc. The Lyndy can do their bit whilst we display the sheets, then it's our turn after that There you are follow the sheep, I am glad I am in the lyndy |

There you are follow the sheep, I am glad I am in the lyndy Are they really trying to tell people when to throw ticker tape and balloons? These would be he same people that have a pop at the club for playing music rather than letting the atmosphere build naturally. I didn't know if these gimps were paying attention, but the Pompey crowd on Thursday night didn't need choreographing. Pathetic, truly pathetic. And what a way to embarrass the club and the city live on national television. |

Likewise. Village and cringrworthy mentality. I wouldn't be holding up a shitty bit of plastic I'd be clapping the lads out onto the bitch. Watford at home in the FA cup where we lost 1-0 had no shitty plastic display and neither did QPR at home. Just pure passionate support. |

| Good news on the A 38
quote
The old Merafield bridge over the A38 is no more, after it was demolished using explosives during the early hours of the morning.
A team of diggers worked through the night to remove the resulting rubble from the carriage way, with the affected stretch of road being reopened at around 6am this morning.
The demolition was part of the £ 6.4m project to replace the concrete cancer riddled structure with a new bridge, which is 80 metres long, 11.3 metres wide and made of 2,503 tonnes of

Just pure passionate support. It's a brent era thing from the same people who forced the forza merde embarrasment on the club. As long as these clueless people have influence rubbish like this will happen. Problem is there's a generation of young fans who have only know failure, mainly under brent, and embarrasing crap like this and think it's normal so go along with it. We're going to look very silly on Sky if we get walloped by Pompey. |
