| How many would we take to Wembley if we got there? 20 years ago it was 30k+, but I doubt that we would get anywhere near that now.
The administration implosion and Brent's total lack of ambition have reduced us to 4th tier no hopers and I think the casual Plymouth public have clocked it. |

I still think 30K+ would go to 'The new Wembley', especially 'for the day out'. I know lots of Cornish based 'part timers' and 'pop ups' and they'll all be there for sure! |

- Interesting point. HHP debacle planning permission limited capacity of HP at 16384 (iirc) without special events planning after Highways commission had their say so that limit probably applies now.
That number is something of a box ticking exercise. They have to put a number in so it matches stadium capacity. Obviously in the longer term a big variation in it would need to be addressed but for a one-off event? It could easily be rubber stamped. There used to temp seats in there before and all rules and regs were complied with then and would be again now. Those pointing out any reason why this can't work, because it could if the desire was there to make it happen, with the sole intention of rubbishing the idea are doing Brent's work for him hence "Brent apologists like Rickler" (and we can now add Rollo). |

You think a man who won't pay 1500 quid to restore the most historic part of the ground or pay someone to clean the back of the grandstand where some of the accumulated detritus dates back to the 70s would even consider such a pie chart in the sky idea? yep wouldnt even pull up £200 for a video camera for hodgies youth team if can remember so what chance have you got of him putting any seats in i tell what chance F#@K all |

Ah I get it. Dare to criticise the Left and you must be Tory scum. Ditto criticise your bizarre non starter and you must be a Brent apologist. Is there anything you're not an expert on? |

| What amazed me is that we were apparently paying 100k a season to rent the Mayflower seats.
Now I'll admit I'm not a plastic seat officionado, but would it not have made financial sense longer term to actually fooking buy some seats and fooking bolt them down ourselves? That was in the days before Brent even knew Plymouth Argyle existed or had any mini-stand dreams. I'm pretty damn shore if we'd done it then, then they'd have been paid for totally by now. |

If we put those seats back into the mayflower it will just give the reluctant one the excuse he needs to get out of building a decent stand. |

He doesn't build anything. Anywhere. Ever. The big problem with Brent agreeing to do anything constructive (in every sense of the word) with the Mayflower, is that it will be the final admission that he cannot and will not be building a new Grandstand. |

| Not that it will ever happen anyway but it's probably a lot more involved than just bolting the seats back in. The terrace surface & steps will have deteriorated over the intervening years, gates will have rusted up, railings rusted through etc. When the reluctant bidder won't even stretch to a couple tins of paint or clean the steps at the back of the Lyndurst it's all pissing into the wind anyway. It's a shame PCC don't grow a pair & tear up the 5 year purchase option as he's not maintained the stadium as he was obliged to. |

All the playoff matches will be shown on sky. That's how we'll be watching the semi finals anyway. And we (me + 2 juniors) are season ticket holders If we get to Wembley, I'll have to go and take the lads, as to miss the experience at their age will live with them forever. I think that adds to my theory somewhat that most ST holders wouldn't dream of paying the normal full POTD price asked of casuals/regular cash payers every other week..
It's a bit of an odd rant, Lordy. Argyle, and the vast majority of other clubs have season tickets that in effect give you about six games free. As far as I can remember that has always been the case - about 6 games free. Now if you're planning on going to all of them anyway, then it's a no-brainer - if you can afford the lump up front. If there was no disparity between season ticket pricing and pay on the day, they'd sell virtually no season tickets. It's just as well you aren't an Accrington fan - the disparity between their ST prices and pay on the day would probably make you want to boil your head with rage. |

They don't read ATD so I am sure he thought of it all by himself. Has he? Blimey. Add plagiarist to the list. |

| Putting the prices up is obvious only if Brent financing anything is unthinkable.
Brent must be more skint than we thought. |
