Yeap this could be an actual fixture next season as Villa are going into administration and could end up in league one next season as a result.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Villa go straight down again, regardless of any points deduction. They are a basket case of a club.

When you force such radical hotheads as the former Chairman of the FA and the Bank of England into resigning then something is seriously wrong.

It just goes to show that even the most beautiful place on the planet could be ruined overnight by some thick American businessman thinking he knows how to succeed in all things human. He doesn't, he just rode the market once in a Dyson sort of way, and fleeced the surplus value out of everyone else he got involved with. It's almost always a one night stand, followed by a lifetime of ruining anything they touch afterward. Not just Americans of course. Look at the Chelsea owner, throwing his ill gotten everywhere like pinning a tail on a donkey. These mill owners are just playing with an estate they know nothing about, but that's what these people do. One year they'll harvest, one year they won't. If anything, probably marginally less successful than if they hadn't been there at all. How anyone can ruin a "safe" premier club like Villa is beyond me. It ran itself, until Mort D' bis.com took over. Nothing but a slow of learning vandal....... apologies to Vandals everywhere.

The oligarch originally just outspent everything in a thousand mile radius, so proved nothing. Ever since he has had some real financial competition, it's all gone sour and been a bit of a dartboard with managers coming and going faster than a Brent loan book. Only going back to the main man, Mourinho, did he find success again. And it was Mourinhio, no doubt, not the oligarch. Credit to him, though, for admitting his mistake of sacking the guy in the first place. I'm only interested in how people perform on a level playing field. A trust fund to a 3 year old from a dead person with a huge wedge could win any league. |
