| Barnet v Plymouth Argyle

Fourth Official Alan Young
Barnet news
The Bees are flying coming off two good results
Martin Allen was pleased with his side’s late comeback, following this afternoon’s 2-2 draw against Accrington Stanley.
Speaking after the match, Martin said:
“It was great wasn’t it - to beat Portsmouth on Tuesday and then come and draw up here when they’re third of fourth in the league. “We made all those changes after playing so well on Tuesday night.
“All the lads who were subs the other night came in and played – I had full confidence and full belief in them.
Bees fan view on the Argyle game
Plymouth are 2nd in the League, Bees are 15th, with MA's team some 24 points adrift of Argyle. Surely a banker Away Win? Maybe not.
Take a look at the form table for the last six matches....
12th Plymouth P6 W2 D3 L1 GD+4 Pts9 13th Barnet. P6 W2 D3 L1 GD +3 Pts9
Nothing in it!! Plymouth's three draws were all in their three away games.
We can win this.
Argyle news
Kelvin Mellor joins Carl McHugh on the injury list
Midfielder Carl McHugh has a calf injury and Kelvin Mellor, only lasted 16 minutes against Notts before he had to be replaced with a dead leg
DEREK ADAMS is expecting a very physical encounter when Plymouth Argyle play Barnet on their first ever visit to The Hive on Tuesday night.
Barnet will rely heavily on the powerful presence of their 13-goal top scorer John Akinde, who got a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw at Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
The Bees will also look to exploit the long throw-ins of Sam Muggleton and on-loan Leicester City defender James Pearson, so Argyle are sure to face an aerial bombardment.
It is not easy on the eye but Barnet are on a good run of results with three wins and three draws from their last seven games in League Two, and manager Martin Allen makes no apologies for their direct approach
I think we will go with three central backs tomorrow
Forster in the middle
TEAM
Luke McCormick
Curtis Nelson (capt), Jordon Forster Peter Hartley, Josh Simpson Oscar Threlkeld Gary Sawyer Craig Tanner Graham Carey Gregg Wylde

| Argyle simply have to win this game, what with the other fixtures that are also taking place (and couple that with the visit of Oxford United to Home Park on Saturday).

| Looks like we got a couple of injuries and cant afford a squad on eight thousand odd crowds. so i'm going for a home win. |

Don't, godforsaken modern shiite hole and they will shove you into the stand for an extra five quid instead of letting you use a perfectly adequate little covered terrace. |

| I think an Argyle win, Oxford tricky on Saturday given our home form against the better clubs. Will be cheering on Yeovil tonight. |

| For no particular reason, I'm predicting a scrappy 1-0 win tonight, a scrappy draw on Saturday, and then a decent performance but a loss against Accy.
So none of those things will come to pass. |

| I reckon Accy may struggle agin Yovo and I'm going for an unlikely win for Argo. |

Would be delighted with a 3 - 0 win. Always go for a losing forecast (draw at home) then happy if wrong. |

| Gotta hope for Accy, Ox and Wycky to win while Barnet see off the Green Army, that would make far more interesting reading at the top come 10 o'clock tonight as I settle down for a post match pint.
Should really be looking for the City Pompey result but to be honest I really don't give a flying, sad state of affairs. |
