C'est la vie. |

| Don't know the guy, but I know a few season ticket holders and I'll be asking them if TC has canvassed them at all about him running for the GASBoard. And given the fact that TC is such a good chum of Officer Dibble, I'm pretty sure there will be a fair few season ticket holders not totally enamoured with his running as their representative. |

TonyC clearly follows ATD avidly. I often enjoy reading his posts and often disagree with them (and, in my view, up until recently I think his posts have been calm, measured and gentlemanly). His views are often challenging - and that's good. I am sure he hasn't done any canvassing yet. He is waiting until there is flesh put on the bones of the proposal. Like everyone involved, he may be tied to internet communication. He is someone who has always said that he is capable of representing himself to the club if needs be. Other than his suggestion of using the club's fan database, I will be intrigued to discover how an individual will set about representing a disparate group. I have found it difficult to see his proposal to stand for the GASB as anything other than at best a challenge to the power of the Trust and at worst mischief-making. |

When I spoke with El President 'face to face' on a video link (almost "real friends"). I told him that Brent should be asked to use that list to send out a PAFC request that fans join the Trust! Maybe if they bought a season ticket the club would buy a Trust membership for them? Since Chris Webb was chair of the ISC it was a simple request to make. I felt that if Brent really wanted to thank the 'Trust' and its member for their hard work, it was the least he could do. Quite frankly.... Coming from Webb, how could he have turned the request down? Then again, I also gave Chris my idea for increasing membership by putting an application on the back of the green/red card the day they handed thousands of them out! Why they were never implemented I will never know! |

| If the Trust get 3 or 4 seats on the GASB, it is the ONLY way it (the GASB) can work effectively for sustained periods of time imho. The disunity will end it otherwise, even though I suspect that many of the common goals will remain the same. |

| I think the GAS is just a way for Brent to say "look, I've involved the fans" but without giving away any control, but with the right people on board who knows! |

| Wow what a lovely nab Mark Pedlar is! Big fan of Peggy's. And the Pasoti mods wonder why they're labelled wankers on here! I suppose if you are a total tosser it's best to be upfront about it rather than hide your feelings away and just ban and censor anonymously. I'm seriously considering going to a fanfest soon to see these dickheads in the flesh and wonder at their supreme intelligence. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

Thanks for the clarification Andy, and for good measure,et me be clear, when I use that terminology I am referring to Rickler, Tring and Gob! No one else. Now in defence of my pal, there is no way he is capable of what you say, but it's down to him as to how he deals with it. It's only the 3 Amigos now So he doesn't hate ALL of ATD. And if the rest of you get rid of we three vile scum and freaks, all will be well between the two forums. An entente cordiale will exist......................... MY ARSE ! In truth, I think it's just my good self and Ricks. He has been known to text and chat with GOB OF ALL THE BEARS IN ALL THE WORLD............................ |

OF ALL THE BEARS INALL THE WORLD............................ So are you Rickler or GOB suffering any mental health problems? Or is this just another example of how two-faced people can be? Denying any involvement in the incidents Andy described as though he wouldn't possibly do anything like that So we have an ex-Pasoti mod joining in ganging up with a current Pasoti mod, who criticises Peggy's programme notes, which I'm sure she gets paid handsomely for, on someone for merely being a member of this site? Makes me sick. And then you have the usual sheep jumping in ready to pucker up and kiss his big fat ring. The GASBoard idea will never work while people like this exist. If anyone thinks they can be part of a board, who isn't joined at the hip with IJN and Chris Webb, then they are deluded. |

That's just IJN's usual trick of trying to split one or two away from the perceived pack. I see he is now trying to encourage Chris Webb to get back onto Pasoti and wade in. I thought those two had given up on the Internet fan forums and were keeping to Twitter Everything he talks about, he goes back on almost the very next day.... strange stuff. |

| In case anybody's whooshed by Jock's magnificent rant, can I just point out that I've never taken a penny for the stuff I write for the programme.
While I'm at it, perhaps I should also point out that everything I - and the others - write is thoroughly checked and proof read by proper professionals. Apart from a bit of editing when I've gone over the word count, I'd only need the fingers of one hand to count how many times my contributions have been changed in any way.
And - should people disagree with my approach, for instance - there's always an email address clearly visible at the top to contact me.
Still, one out of ten to those who constantly try to use this to have a pop at somebody they don't like. |

| That's what I thought Peggy. I was pretty sure you did it for free, taking time out to contribute and for what? To have a Pasoti mod belittling your efforts because you don't bow down to the master. |

| CW has just mentioned on twitter that David Wheeler is planning to call a meeting of supporter's groups asap, maybe at the next home game, and also 'finding a way of taking individual views' before putting together a draft proposal.

This should have been done before the Board proposal was put forward. |

| Once they find out exactly who is considering standing, then the dogs can be set loose good and proper.
You will need to fill out a questionnaire to stand for election.
1. Is Ian Newell a) A saint b) Your bff c) The best man at your wedding 2. What did you do to save the club? 3. How many of your children are called Tommy or Mayflower? 4. Whilst attending the fanfest and watching the same hilarious entertainment for the 15th time, do you a) wet your pants again b) fall off your chair spilling your pint of Tribute c) book the entertainment for your sons Tommy's 18th birthday d) all of the previous options 5. How many badges are under your Pasoti Avatar? a) 4 b) 5 c) more than 5 6. What are your views on the Argyle Trust? a) Ian Newell's b) Chris Webb's c) Get on you Janner 7. Which car insurance firm do you use? a) Aviva 8. If Argyle get relegated this season, what will your reaction be? a) They won't because Chris Webb says James Brent is a really nice guy 9. What are your thoughts on the Argyle Talk Democratic forum? a) scum, weirdo's cowards and freaks b) bomb the blasphemous fuckers c) I look in when asked to by the master but hate it with a passion. 10. What is the best way to reimburse the staff the pay they went without to save the club? a) Very slowly and with the help of ordinary fans rather than a multi-millionaire dipping into his deep pockets.
Only persons able to complete the questionnaire in full will be considered for a position on the GASBoard. All of the completed questionnaires will be vetted by a committee comprising of James Brent, Chris Webb and Ian Newell, so please remember to mark clearly on the top how much you contributed to the Forza Verde Flag and drum. |

Can't allow this, they might start asking awkward questions.
Time to unleash the poodles again. Squire Brent has (again) played a very clever game. Selling or giving 20% of the Club to the Trust is a smart move for Brent as 1. In a 20% v 80% fight we all know who wins 2. He can fulfil his statements about a community based club by saying that the fans own a part of it. 3. We're only talking about 20% of the football club and all the football club actually owns is the players contracts (i.e. liabilities) 4. Brent will still retain full control over and all profits from development (in cahoots with the Council) 5. You can bet that Brent won't be attending too many of these face to face fans meeting where the plebs will go on about the car park, free buses, the poor quality of the pasties etc. He'll get some mug (we all know who) to go instead. |

There are certainly important questions to be answered but no-one knows the answers yet. Why do you assume that the split will be 20:80 The fans actually may own part of it - and that is a step that hasn't been taken before. Some of your comments may come to pass but so far (with all my usual caveats) he has delivered what he promised. Let's wait & see. Nobody yet knows the detail of Brent's offer to the supporters or how that will pan out in terms of debt, profits or the extent of ownership of the assets. |
