| Plymouth Argyle v Barnet Man in the middle BRETT HUXTABLE Games: 18 YELLOWS 61 REDS 1
Assisted by Mark Russell and Matt Eva
Fourth Official Simon Long Barnet News InjuriesTeam News: Sam Togwell returned to the matchday squad for Barnet’s goalless draw against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday. Bira Dembele returns from suspension but Alie Sesay serves the second game of his three-match ban for a red card at Grimsby Town. Meanwhile, Michael Gash (knee), James Pearson (knee), Shaun Batt (hamstring) and Gavin Hoyte (hamstring) are longer-term absentees. by Bee Forever (from Barnet fans forum) So after Saturday's thrilling encounter versus Crewe the bees take the road looking to take on the Green Army from the deep south (west). With Storm Stevland currently battering the south coast they will be unprepared for Hurricane John which is sweeping its way down from london. With an area famous for it's hoe (stop snickering), awful Aviva adverts and for the football team being nicknamed the Pilgrims, I had to choose between nautical or cheese related comments. Naturally I could not give edam about the sea history of Plymouth so I thought it cheddar to go with the latter. After getting whalloped by the fish on Saturday if the Pilgrim's Choice was to be taken in to account, then I would imagine that Barnet at home would be the whey they would go. Personally it gets my goat when teams underestimate the bees, and I think we can cause an upset on a briesy night if we play to our strengths, and pick some of our extra mature players. Your'e green, you're white, you're cows are all alight, Argyle Argyle NewsInjuriesWith Spencer joining Gary Sawyer and Ryan Brunt in long term treatment room, hoping that Nauris Bulvitis and David Ijaha is only short term. It was good news to see Garita in the team last game and Threlkeld on the bench. Not going to over the Grimsby game but hope DA play's Osborne and move Songo o back to mid-field. The gate will be down to around 7,500, I going for 3 - 1 win. |

| Decided to not risk train turning up given the rail chaos today, so a few ciders in the bar, Chinese takeaway, quids in still compared to attending the game. Hope we win, nearly went up to plainmoor for Gulls v Solihull motors then thought better of it. |

| Now we know why Adams is manager of Brents Argyle, and not at a proper club. Promoted teams do not lose two on the bounce to dogshit teams like Grimsby and Barnet. |

| Playing quite well from all accounts. Denied stonewall penalty when Jervis was brought down and their second shouldn't have been allowed as there was a blatant foul on Songo. Fox has hit the bar as well.
This from my son who's there and is probably a little biased.

Promoted teams do not lose two on the bounce to dogshit teams like Grimsby and Barnet. It's painfully apparent we're not a promotion team |
