- McHugh is one more booking away from a two-match suspension.
McHugh, one of the Pilgrims' most consistent players this season, has been yellow-carded nine times in 28 starts and two substitute appearances.
There is an amnesty for anyone who picks up their 10th booking after the second Sunday in March and a ban is not imposed.
But if McHugh is booked one more time before then he will have to miss the next two matches, which would be a blow for Argyle manager Derek Adams given his level of performance this term.
Left-back Gary Sawyer is on eight yellow cards for the season, while right-back Kelvin Mellor and midfielder Oscar Threlkeld are both on six.
Threlkeld's loan spell with Argyle from Championship club Bolton Wanderers will end on April 9, after the home game against AFC Wimbledon.
The Pilgrims return to League Two action against fifth-placed Mansfield Town at Home Park this Saturday. yet argyle are still twiddling their thumbs waiting for the 12th never for boateng to return rather than go after another. |
