Yeovil news
Yeovil Town boss Darren Way pleased with improvement ahead of visit of Pilgrims
Preparing for the visit of Plymouth Argyle this weekend, Yeovil Town manager Darren Way has revealed his joy at the improvement his side has made since his appointment.
Way replaced former Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock at the Huish Park helm in December after a poor start to the season. But since then they have managed to move up to 21st place, four points clear of the relegation zone.
They have taken seven points from a possible nine in their last three games notching up 2-1 and 3-2 wins over Crawley and AFC Wimbledon respectively and drawing 1-1 with Luton.
"For where the team was before to where it is now I think everyone can see the difference," Way told BBC Somerset.
"I didn't expect it to happen so soon. It's been six weeks now and I think the effort that the players have put in over a short period of time has been phenomenal.
"That's not just come from me, that's come from opposition managers, supporters, so things are looking good.
"It's important we don't become complacent and everyone keeps working towards that objective, and that's to keep that momentum going

| Looks ominous. Yellow weather warning for heavy rain on Saturday. Might make their pitch as bad as HP. |

The met office have said that the UK may get a cold spell this month that could last for a longer duration. |

The met office have said that the UK may get a cold spell this month that could last for a longer duration. I wouldn't hold your breath. If there was some sort of trading standards equivalent for meteorologists, the Met Office would be shut down. Their forecasting accuracy, particularly time wise, is laughably poor. |

Yeovil Town are asking for fans to volunteer and help to remove covers ahead of the match against Plymouth Argyle.
With heavy rain forecast over night the club have covered the pitch to protect the playing surface from the elements.
Anyone able to help are asked to report to the Huish Park to reception at 10am. |

| Lots of westcountry matches being postponed. And yet Yeovil bravely struggle on to get the covers off the pitch. I have an uneasy feeling about this..... |

| If it's called off lots of people will be pissed off it wasn't called off sooner. If it goes ahead...there's always the chance of it being abandoned, or if Argyle lose and the Green Army are soaked there'll be a lot of cries of 'it should never have been played'. We await with baited breath. At Home. In the warm and dry. |
