| DECEMBER 2015Here is Ryan in action against League Two strugglers Yeovil Town. With Argyle only winning 2 matches out of 8 since the beginning of October, there was consternation among the fans that Argyle's promotion campaign was in danger of being derailed having lost form and confidence with injuries. Despite having an average first half, Brunt produced an exceptional Man of the Match effort in the second half to score the winning goal, following up a long range Craig Tanner effort to slot past a helpless Yeovil keeper. The result put Argyle two points clear at the top of League Two. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_____________ Having scored the winner at Home Park just two days previously, Ryan was selected to lead the line against a newly resurgent Newport County side under ex-Argyle boss John Sheridan. Similar to Boxing Day, Brunt had an ordinary first half as Argyle went 1-0 down and looked second best all over the pitch. However after half time Brunt produced a stirring display, producing a fantastic assist for Jake Jervis's equaliser, and scoring the winner on the 70th minute, as Argyle looked rampant and created chances for further goals. The turnaround at Newport left Argyle 8 points clear of the playoff pack, and Ryan was selected as the supporters' man of the match for the third time in 5 matches! | I seriously believe he'll become a cult figure down here ala trigger. He's a big big lump but clearly skillful at times to. That cross for Jervis at Rodney was just sublime |

| I too love this thread, it's like Viz in its heyday. It really needed to be started by someone who hates Brunt though. |

| Viz magazine did a one off strip featuring Plymouth Argyle when we were in the championship. It was surreal. |

Yep, think so, they had all the players names right and even bothered having some likeness. Remember thinking how weird it was, even for viz which I loved btw. |
