PostSubject: Re: The Friday Poetry Thread   The Friday Poetry Thread - Page 32 EmptyFri May 08, 2015 9:44 pm

It's Friday night, I can't relax,
My nerves are shredded to the max,
In 24 it's shit or bust,
Sherries boys in green we have to trust,
I've had a beer, I've closed my eyes,
But I can't escape ahead what Lies,
Cries of joy or cries of pain,
Etched on our minds like a shitstain,
In 2 weeks time will we be in the smoke,
Or in the gutter pissed and broke,
It's getting close, this massive game,
We're Plymouth Argyle, that's our name.
ROOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR

Elections come,
Elections go,
But Argyle go on forever.

Special dispensation for poems today
It's only fair Mockers whaddya say?

The nerves are a jangling
My heart's started to pound
Can we batter the Chairboys
And fill Wembley with sound

The Green Army's marching
They've got Bob on their side
Tring's watching in Cyprus
He's enjoying the ride

So open the fridge
Get a beer, shut the door
Or go to the boozer
It's Wembley foreshore!!!!!!!!

jocolor cheers drunken party animal parteeeeee chickendance :greenrave:

Derek Adams had a team
e i e i o
For that team he had a dream
e i e i o

With a Rueben here
and a Nelson there
Here a Ruebs there a Ruebs
Everywhere a Ruebs Ruebs
Derek Adams had a team
e i e i o

With a few goals here
and a few goals there
Here a goal there a goal
Everywhere a goal goal

It's the FPT an me names Mock_C
Living the travails of Kingsbridge royalty

What ho, chaps, how's it been?
I saw the old bean Horace Turner-Luthwaite this morn - on the gin!

Summer emerging onto the grounds
ramblers and peasants doing the rounds

Peeking through the windows of Kingsbridge Castles
the bottom of society, the poorest of rascals!

there's something distasteful, peering through the glass
"Fear not, my dear, it's the working class!"

"Get off my land" I asked initially gently
before chasing them off, with shotgun and Bentley!

my 5 aside team won the league
I was a geezer throughout
I scored 4 in one game last week
and made lots of blocks
this was an achievement
thanks for listening to my poem

To the tune of Robin Hood TM TigerTone

Abuse Reports, Abuse Reports, sent in to the site,
Abuse Reports, Abuse Reports, filled with steaming shite,
Sent by the dim, to entertain the dull,
Abuse Reports, Abuse Reports, Abuse Reports.

A fantastic creature buzzes, from plant to tree
bringing life to each, making all happy
This the NFU are keen to avoid
by their continued lobbying for neonicotinoid
Liz Truss knew the entire sad story
then covered it all up, like a good little Tory

Will smash the goals right past you.

To the tune of Elvis's "crying in the chapel

They saw Ainsworth crying in the chapel
After Jake got on his knees and scored
Gareth knows the meaning of a stuffing
Now we're happy with Del Boy

Pasoti is dying
This ain't no lying
They're getting less hits
I couldn't give two shits
Will it be long before they're not here?
I care more about diarrhea.

I love to see a vibrant thread,
Thrusting through the dross,
When I've just got out of bed,
And climbed aboard my hoss.

Bristol Rovers come to town,
The pirates is their nickname,
We'll rough 'em up and knock 'em down,
Let's hope they have a shitgame.

One for the oldies when you could stand in Demport end.

If I had the wings of a sparrow
If I had the arse of a cow
I'd fly over Brizzle tomorrow
and sheite on the bar stewards below ... below

Sheite on Sheite on .......

When the fleas of a thousand camels
Start to infest your arse

When your hair turns to drumsticks
And start to beat your brains out

When your testicles begin to fester
And are starting to drop off

You know you've been to Sid James Park

First he came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then he came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then he came for the Disabled, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not disabled.
Then he came for the poor, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not poor.
Then he came for pigs—and I posted abait it on social meeja like a lad

Thank you Mock,
Your erudite prose,
Will lift on high,
The hearts of those,
Who on this morn,
Do duly read,
Your latest ode,
To Tory porn.

Though the mud and blood the green army will go
to reach the dream of a play off final
The wobbles may be nice and friendly
that won't count when we shots them out
and reach the dizzy heights at Wembley
