| ITS FRIDAY NOW!!!!! To the tune of ''red flag flying''The people's flag is green and white And Shrewsbury you're very sheite All this way and you've no hope Your fans will only cry and mope Then raise the green flag very high. Within its shade we'll live and die, We'll watch the game and have a beer We'll keep the green flag flying here. Look 'round, the Shrews are getting stuffed Their goal attempts are being fluffed In Demport seats the songs are sung We've given the ref a great big bung. Then raise the green flag very high. Within its shade we'll ….. (chorus) On the pitch the greens will score The Shrews will feel very sore Reuben gets his second goal His mate Reid shows great control Then raise the green flag very high. Within its shade we'll ….. (chorus) Lewi and Cox will run the show Nelse and Carl will stop the flow Marv and Thomo will use the flanks Rueben Reid will give them thanks Then raise the green flag very high. Within its shade we'll ….. (chorus) Luke in goal will save the shots Snowy the man will tie them in knots The fans will sing all afternoon And Graiser will meet Lay-by's sister later. I thank you - all proceeds to Trings retirement fund |

| Friday comes round one more time
Can't think of anything to rhyme
Don't give up just one more try
might manage something by
next time the clock doth chime |
