Brenty's plans will come unstuck
Cheery Tree will have a ruck
Newell's boot boys all in jail
Ha Ha Brenty, Major fail

Cap'n Kirk aka De-lar
No longer is the aviva czar
Snooper Hooper you're havin a laugh
Has anal sex with a big giraffe

This guy's a joke, a human being
Get off my park, with your hotel fleeing
I'll hunt you dain like in '86
Impale your head aloft some sticks
ice rinks here, school and imax
get them binned or I'll burn the stack
desist you dirty, rotten toad
or i'll barge your highness into the road

careful mock, about what you say
incase some of it comes true one day

Oh citizens of Plymouth,

Friday here, Lions tomorrow
to watch this game, I'd beg and borrow
A Test loss would fill this bean with sorrow

Champions Trophy, Inja at home
The trophy is ours, no longer to roam
to stick on the mantel next to the garden gnome

Wobbly Shags Lion!

Been Friday now for 22 hours,
Lots of sun and no showers,
These Aussie chaps think they'll win,
But they're as dim as tarnished tin.

Here I sit head in hands
Writing my letter to get it banned.
"Is it worth it?"
I ask myself.
All this shit's
Not good for my health.
But on I press,
Full of hope,
Not under duress
Just a bit of a dope.
There's more important things than a bit of grass
And a bit of park
that may or may not last.
But I'll carry on writing this feckin letter until it gets dark.

Ashes nearly here
I got drunk last night on rum
Now I am quite tired

Lying here in the sun,
It's so hot,
I may burn me bum!

Contemplating work tonight
My four days off have been real shite
Earning money's No_1
But feck me, four nice days of sun?

The sky is blue,
And so's the sea,
a night in Poole,
Beckons me.

I had a girlfriend from Poole,
She was very curvy,
And made my dad drool.

There was an old man on the net
In Boardrooms the Chuckles he met
Prawn sarnies he ate
With Webby his mate
And 'our Nikkk' who pays off the debt.

Boom boom!  

I used to love my local team
I won't be ever fooled again
Let's get a coach up to Safend
And mix with Argyle Nooligans. 

I wondered lonely as a ghost,
That drifts on high by light or dark,
When all at once I saw a cloud,
A gert black one o'er Higher Home Park.

Three weeks since we've poemed
And we're still rolling along
The nooligans are after us
But we're singing an ATD song

A mile up the road there’s a hidden IMAX cinema, dentists, school, hotel and shopping mall
And we can watch those nooligans

Two weeks since my holiday

The Owl and the Pussycat
Went to see
A beautiful Demport park
They took their bikes
and plenty of crayons
In case they felt like a lark.

Iggys back from hottest Iberia,
Penning prose just to cheer ya,
Friday poets are just like teachers,
They need August off.

Poole again,
No time to think,
The boat is dry,
I cannot drink.

 

Come on you bards and poets great
Time to give opinion and commentate
On the ghastly plans for our club now underway
It really deserves some commentary
What better way to do that than in verse
It can be either dark or just plain terse
In this thread we can describe this catastrophe
This very sad and cruel era in our club's history
In well phrased words - highlight that the banker
Is a thieving, plundering, greedy w*nker
