I would love to lighten up Rollo.
i just find it very difficult to believe in the modern form of accounting, and especially so in football. It's an insult.
The last football bunch I will ever believe in were the For Fans, By fans lot, that included Michael Foot. Even they blew it in the end. I have every right to dislike the football culture, but will praise the characters that come over to me as half decent. Surely any 10 year old child could see the players Sturrock had assembled were an absolute joke for the money paid. I would laugh at the bar as well, and did on several occasions.  If Accrington prove to have a more "moral" way of accounting and dealing with employment than Pompey, then great, but I really don't have the time to research it that fully. In the meantime, they're both in an industry that stinks.
In other matters concerning the sky and animals underneath, I'm a happy robbin, bob bob bobbin along...... well, apart from the war, mass theft dressed as false austerity etc Laughing

Thought the death nell for his reign at Yeovil would be the loss on Saturday, surprised they had given him this long. Respect to the guy for his highs and lows, but strikes me he should stay out of management now and look after his health - you only get one life.
Best of luck to him.

Yeovil have gone with the cheap option,

The board of Yeovil Town have today appointed Darren Way as the club's new permanent manager

championship to non league in less then 5 years it is for them

I seem to remember that Holloway thought he was too good for the Argyle job when approached by the media in the summer?

Good to see that now he hasn't had a job offer in months he is happy to manage at the bottom of League Two.

Stocks go up and down EJ.
Peacock, McCall, Shilton or Grobelaar didn't play for Argyle in their prime years, yet they were quick to slip down here when the time came, and made a good job of it, well, apart from Peacock. Things change, waistlines expand, lungs run out of breath, managers start missing the point.
My bet is Bruntinho won't ever make it above L2 in any measurable way, before he starts "ageing". Holloway has done it a well reasonable level in the football world, and if he can't get a job elsewhere, L2 will suit him fine.

From what I was told he was offered it and turnt it down cause of the low wages and lack of money to spend,
