Sturrock leave Southend

Striker Blair Sturrock has joined Blue Square Bet North club Bishop's Stortford.

After starting his career at Dundee United, the 31-year-old (pictured) moved into the Football League, playing for such clubs as Plymouth Argyle, Rochdale and Swindon Town.

For the last two seasons he has been at Southend United where he scored six goals.

Had me too.

Blair Sturrock was a trier I'll give him that, but he was never anything special in any division he played in.

Yep, and me. Laughing

Blair's managed to scrape a career, largely due to his dad signing him all the time. He always gave 100%, but yeah, two levels below us in Conference North is a level that will probably truly reflect his ability.
