| Thank God for Bretonside, stopped that ghastly boxed in mini stand, a self imposed barrier to future growth.
Certainly made the infamous 'your boys took one hell of beating' comments from that freak Ian De-Loser even more amusing |

| I for one am very happy all brents talk of 'developments' and ministands is just that - talk. His complete inability to deliver on anything 'developments' wise could yet save Argo in the medium/ longer term.

| I've just had a look on the Akkeron website, it's STILL under construction. How many years is that now?
Loving the pic of 4 people standing on a hill peering into the distance. Are they searching for the next site for non development? |

| I thought you would appreciate this dribble written by Webb 2 years ago yesterday. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Highlights - Adding an additional 1,488 in capacity will allow us to dream the dream - a 7 berth bus station belongs in a village, - If we don't back an shit development shoehorned into a suburban park a) All of our kids will grow up wanting Man U or Chelsea shirts b) We must be Exeter fans - The future of the Vue complex is of utmost importance - Without the grandstand Chris Webb cannot love the club. Its so bad its funny

| Talking of Webb, doesn't Newell describe him to a tee here when talking about people who suddenly reappear when there's publicity to be had. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Prior to Brent's outrageous bluff being called by Torbay council, didn't the Akkeron group website home page, permanently under construction, sport a picture of the grand Oldway mansion ? I think it did, so you have to laugh at the makeover. His preferred image of old grandeur and implied wealth/taste/power/desire is now supplanted by some gingster goon kicking a footy and a bunch of saltrock/rocksalt/whatever surfy young guns pointing into the sunshine. I think the man is fated to shrivel, away from his previous safe harbour of corporate easy wealth jolly land. It's in his DNA. He can't survive out in the wild on his own wit. If he were a tramp, he'd be hopeless at it. |

| Well, he sort of did make a killing, Hugh. A year or so after he bought said "farm" along with the necessary qualifying "local", that probably hasn't produced a bean since, a nice Euro farm payment of hundreds of thousands winged it's way toward the old bank account. Nice work if you can get it. I think at the time there was a lot of controversy in Romania regarding the whole scam, who was buying up land intended for locals, and for what purpose. It was a Euro gravy train. Heaven forfend those Tory sceptics with access to the cheapest money in history should cash in on the latest goldrush. They'll miss it when it's gone. |

Welcome back.. The only person I've ever seen mention this Romanian windfall is you. At the risk of you throwing another hissy fit and scarpering off again - may I ask where the proof of this claim can be found? |

| I'll be holding a Q and A before the end of March, next year. Your request has been logged. I must remind you that freedom of information requests cannot be made online while your GPS is switched off and a VPN utilised. However, a season ticket number passing the pasoti vetting process may well help your request. Up the greens |

Its so bad its funny I bet the good folk of Milton Keynes didn't realise that they needed a village idiot until Webb moved in. Even without the benefit of hindsight that article is embarrassingly innacurate and juvenile. Does make you wonder if the Herald just published it because they knew that by doing so they'd make Webb look like an even bigger spunktrumpet than he did already. |

Does anyone at the Herald care about journalism standards anymore? its as if they will print any old crap they can just to fill a paper with a tosser spouting shit like this still to this day. Love to know 2 years later if president webb cringes at these types of articles today or he still believes buliding a decent mulitplex in teh town centre and not next door to a football stadium forever destroying central park and stunting plymouth agyle's growth will stop kids putting on utd shirts. If i were to put money on it id say a team stuck playing league 1-2 football permanently that he seems keen on supporting will do the job of that. |
