| FFS TG, barely 48 hrs to kick-off and still no match thread!? Neglecting your duties. I'm hoping they'll rest a few to concentrate on their promotion push. Their form has been excellent ever since we drew them. I'm going for 4,477. (85 away) |

| Tg won't be happy, that's for sure. Probably too busy brewing tea, and chewing the cud with Pete. I have never cared who did what in the JPT, ever. It's a nonsense, an on offer Tuesday lunchtime cheese burger. Even if my own mother won it, I would tell her to return it forthwith for fear of parochial contamination. Don't get me wrong, I like parochial activity if it involves nice people making and consuming cakes and stories, but leave it to the parishioners, not the supposed national pro football clubs. If we are to believe in anything that's worth paying and watching in a passive sense, there just has to be standards. Make believe has to be properly made. |

| When Argo play a team from a higher division the other team always wins. Those are the rules.
Argo 0-2 Millwall |

| It was late comers that boosted the bums on seats, looking at the tickets sells on line, if season ST holders purchase their seats it looks better then Saturdays
Millwall were initial allocation of 556 tickets
Plenty of students up there buying tickets this morning
I read somewhere yesterday how easy it is to attain student cards |

| Plymouth Argyle v MillwallAll you need to know about Tuesday night's game Millwall are just three steps away from making a fourth appearance at Wembley in just seven years. The Lions head to Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Area Quarter Final knowing that victory would book a place in the last four of the competition and provide a great opportunity of extending our incredible recent Wembley record. Although Plymouth Argyle were on the wrong end of a surprise Emirates FA Cup exit on Saturday at the hands of Carlisle United, Derek Adams' League Two leaders have been in excellent form this season, losing just five times in 20 League and Cup games in total. Millwall have been in decent form too, with Saturday's FA Cup home success against AFC Fylde The Lions' fifth win in seven matches in a 14-match run that has seen Neil Harris' charges beaten a paltry twice. What the managers say Neil Harris: "I want to get through; we're not thinking long-term about a Wembley appearance, all we're thinking about is winning the next game. That's the mentality I am trying to get into this group of players. I pick teams to win games and the team I pick I expect them to win. "We're on a good run at the moment and I want that to continue. "Plymouth are, however, a a really good team, I have seen them and watched them on video. They are in a tough League and are top of it by a few points, so that shows their ability. "It's a hard game though; it's a long way to go midweek but that's the nature of the competition. Plymouth is a good place to play and I used to enjoy playing down there. It's a good footballing town so I'm looking forward to it, as are the boys." Derek Adams: "We've had an excellent spell at the start of the season, but we need to pick ourselves up and go again. "I have got a very good squad at this point in time. We have started the season well, the way that we have played, and we have been able to handle the small squad we have. It’s been very good. "We've got to try to progress to the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and we know it's going to be tough but that is what we are in the competition to do. We have got to try to win the game and get to a Semi-Final. Team news Lions boss Neil Harris welcomes back George Saville to his travelling squad for Tuesday night's game. The Wolves loanee was not given permission by his parent club to feature in Saturday's FA Cup tie with AFC Fylde, but is eligible to face Plymouth, having made his Millwall debut against Northampton in the JPT competition last month. Shane Ferguson, on loan from Newcastle United, was also ineligible to face AFC Fylde and misses the trip to Home Park because he is on international duty with Northern Ireland. Goalkeeper Jordan Archer will take his place between the sticks once again. David Forde replaced Archer last weekend for his first start since mid-September, but the stopper is away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland for their Euro 2016 Play-Off with Bosnia-Herzegovina. Teenager Harry Girling is expected to be named on the bench for The Lions as back-up keeper. For the home side, manager Derek Adams again looks to be unable to call on the services of Hiram Boateng. The on-loan Crystal Palace midfielder was ruled out of last Saturday's game with a leg injury. Josh Simpson looks set to continue in his place. Reuben Reid (hip) remains sidelined, so Ryan Brunt could continue to take the central striking role. Gregg Wylde's is in line for a first team recall having recovered from injury and is vying for a place on the right side of the Pilgrims' attack with Craig Tanner. Head to head The two teams have met on 75 previous occasions - and there is absolutely nothing to choose between them stats-wise. The Pilgrims have won 24 matches, The Lions exactly the same amount and 27 fixtures have finished all-square. You have to go back to 9th August 2011 to find when the sides last met, and on that occasion a Dany N'Guessan goal secured a 1-0 Carling Cup win for Millwall. The Lions have certainly enjoyed the upper hand in the more recent of meetings, winning two and sharing the spoils in the remaining four games during which they conceded two goals and kept two clean sheets. | I shall be at HP tonight and I am hoping to see Argyle clinch a victory (2-0) and hopefully see them play well also.
Should be a good test and a pointer for next season should Argyle get promoted in May. |
