| Adams has been found out at homepark big time, even the gashest of the gash can get a result at HP. |

| 0 - 0 FT. 3 home games without a goal, and this against 10 men.
Not good. No doubt the anti Adams twitter accounts will be out in force tonight.
Still think he's the best manager we've had for some time. |

| A good draw, not to be sniffed at, we can build on this, kick on from here, coming together nicely. |

| Dorchester Stourbridge and soon to be Newport, the teams that have knocked Argyle out of the cup since we were "saved". |

| Just what Argyle needed. A replay on a cold, Tuesday night in South-Wales.
What is happenng to this side, it has all the hall marks of 2015-16. |

| Really really really hate slagging our players off but Donaldson and Goodwillie... what point is there to either of them?
All the red card did was match the numbers up better. |

| I blame Hallett, important announcements on the eve of a crucial game tsk tsk. I expect widespread disapproval all over the farm later. |

| Eventually went today, much against my better judgement-nice warm fire, good golf and snooker on the telly-and well,my better judgement was right. Fecking freezing afternoon, very unusually for me could stick no more and left 15 minutes from time for a blessed fag and a warm car.Had an idea how this game would be today, typical Westley team [fouling and niggling from the off] against a bereft of ideas Argyle. The sending off made no difference, neither team were ever going to score today-one thing that really grips my shit about Argyle is the elaborate nature of the build up.Time and again opportunities were created to get early ball into the box [which i was always taught was the situation that defenders disliked the most, looks like my gurus ideas don't tally with modern versions] only for the extra pass to be taken and the move snuffed out.No question that Spencer is missed, Goodwillie is not coming up to the mark [although it is unfair to expect him to be a direct replacement] -maybe an indication that the strength in depth of the squad is not as healthy as some presumed.Waste of money and waste of time would have been a more direct and truthful summary today. |

| Absolute crap today.
Goodwillie is quite simple a fat, lazy sack of shit who has no interest in playing or even trying to be a professional footballer let alone a striker. he made no effort to run into space or even run, he lost the ball many times and his lack of any ability shouldn't shock anyone that he didnt even come close to a shot aimed at goal and hasn't done for pretty much all this season. I never want to see him in an argyle shirt again. The fact he was ironically cheered off the pitch when Rooney came on hopefully sends a message to del bhey not to waste his time picking him and give Rooney a chance at least till January. It saddens me that some idiots on twitter defended him saying he didnt have service!! well he was static for most of our attacks and didnt even move to be able to receive a cross.
nice to see Alex Fletcher make his pro debut he did ok certainly could teach goodwillie a thing or two about basic work ethics.

Same, went against my better judgement, which is never a good thing, and rewarded with a negative experience, froze My bollocks off and witnessed a dire game, lacklustre disjointed argyle performance all of the ninety minutes. There was no quality evident in the Newport side, although fair dues they defended well and were organised obviously trying to unsettle the greens with dirty tricks and quick breaks. Think both teams should have scored, at one point we cleared off the line, Carey missed a sitter, we had several chances and again didn't score. The main concern for me was defensively we seemed to panic at the back, under any kind of attack, and we are talking about a team rock bottom in the league. For me we looked jaded, only Carey was up for it and even he lost the plot eventually and looked a frustrated man. Agree too much intricate play, lost possession at the vital moment, poor communication evident. Was willing to give Goodwillie some leeway, but agree he appeared not to be arsed to run into areas and gave the ball away dangerously. So basically it's all gone to shit very quickly, on this performance and the slump before, we have no chance against Donny and I would fancy the Dragons to take us, up at Newport. Enjoy the ride everyone BRENT OUT |

Should have checked the calendar first before posting. But I did post this on the way home in the bus yesterday. I'm double booked, so Newport will have to wait for another season... |
