| GD really important. Hard to see Argyle cocking this one up. Draw and a Win will secure it prior to shrewsbury |

Draw and a Win will secure it prior to shrewsbury Not sure about that harve, Argyle hold the World record for cocking things up, I'm hopeful but not confident. |

Even Luggy says following your team is a rollercoaster ride of  unwavering support..................but then he would, wouldn't he ? |

| Just noticed that the playoff final will kick off at 5:30pm on a Saturday. Great news for fans who live in the south-east. Less great for those of us who don't. |

Because he gets well paid for taking supporters for granted and knows that most of them will show the sort of mindless loyalty that managers and players don't. Feckin rollercoaster, my arse ! |

| I have just looked at a Luton forum , they are saying that Luton will need four points to pip Argyle, as they believe that Argyle will beat Tranmere, but lose to Shrewsbury.

Draw at Southend
Plymouth beat Tranmere
Win against Stev
Plymouth lose away to Shrewsbury
For Argyle to burst that Luton bubble it is going to take a mammoth effort now. |

I certaily don't and never have. Not until the stench of brent has been long cleansed from the club and PAFC is run in a proper and professional way under a proper owner can we ever hope to start climbing the leagues again. Until then the downward trajectory will continue. BRENT OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| We absolutely need to win on Saturday and Luton to lose, we cannot afford to travel to shrewsbury hoping to gain anything and hopefully our GD will clinch it. |

| If Southend lose tomorrow night at Bury, then there is a good chance that the Southend manager may rest key players when they play Luton on Saturday. If that is the case, Argyle would have to get a win against Tranmere and then a win at Shrewsbury in the final game.
Hoping that Southend win or at least draw against Bury to keep alive the chance of automatic promotion. |

| All these permutations are doing my head in. I'm pushing 60 FFS! Simples really - 2 wins and we are there - easy easy easy. Well unless we win 2 games with a GD from 2 games of 2 - 0 giving us a final GD of +17 and Luton win both by a total of +8 ending with +17 and we ain't scored enough. Or, of course, we win 1 and draw one then ...... headache. |

Or, of course, we win 1 and draw one then ...... headache. Argyle should not have to be relying on other teams, as they should have had this wrapped up by now. Sadly, they are and that is a sorry state of affairs to be in. Still, two wins it is to be certain of making the final cut. I hope JS has given the team a right old roasting and told them that it is now or never. Whether the team will take heed of a roasting is another question, but i hope they have and turn on the style [sic] when they play Tranmere and Shrewsbury. It is the least they can do to show the fans that they do indeed care and want to make that final Play-Off spot.. |

You hardly need to turn on the style against Tranmere FFS. At this moment in time they're just about as guaranteed a three-points as its possible to get. They haven't won since February 21st and apart from two successive draws at the turn of the month have lost every game since. They haven't even scored for four games. By all accounts they miraculously managed to produce a period of domination against Luton (who themselves have been poor both times I've seen them) during which they somehow contrived to miss a penalty and ended up losing by a single bad goal. Forums are always to be taken with a pinch of salt, but from reading the two Tranmere boards and press reports in recent months they do seem to be a complete shambles - division in the dressing room, mass barracking of substituted players ("you're not fit to wear the shirt") and so on. I have to confess that I'd find it amusing if they produced an upset, if only because it would quite possibly be one of the most comical stuff-ups in the recent history of this division, but I genuinely can't see any way that can happen. The way things seem to be going you could have Nelson, Reid and Alessandra sent off in the first ten minutes and still get something out of the game. Relax - all your rivals would kill to be playing Tranmere on Saturday |

| There are no easy matches at this stage when nerves are shredded and your opponents are fighting for their lives. If only we could play you turds every week |
