Welling have completed the signing of centre-back Darren Purse.
The former Millwall and Birmingham defender will add valuable experience to our youthful squad during the second half of the campaign.
Welling boss Jody Brown said: “I made a decision that we needed an injection of experience and Darren brings that.
“He has already displayed his leadership qualities in training, and I’m sure that his defensive qualities will help us in the immediate future but also accelerate the development of the young players around him.”
Purse has more than 500 senior appearances to his name following an impressive career which also included spells at West Brom, Oxford, Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday
