He bigs up Ridders, and professes his love for his wife... flower

I honestly think he will turn out to be a latter day legend for us.

Certainly a big man to come out in support of the devil incarnate. I hope you're right about Purse. He could be a life-saver for us. I shall be interested in how he and Walton work together.

(nb my tongue firmly in cheek re PR - so much of the bad reputation about him must come from the same press that we revile.)

Well he's got experience in bucket loads which is what we badly needed. He could still do a job at Championship /L1 level so it is a coup getting him to a team rock bottom of the football league

Seems like Ridsdale wrote the script for him but even so, a good bit of work by Ridsdale.

Credit where credit is due, this is good work by the club and deserves a pat on the back for Brent. Maybe Brent does mean business?

There'll be panic in some places though, we're spending money!

Hopefully he will stick around now Ridders has gone. I has been a long time since we had someone of Purses pedigree at centre back. Maybe in time he can bring out the best in Curtis Nelson too.
