| Only 1800 in, but don't know if that includes tickets sold online around the country to those without intention of intending.
Good result for the pack to keep hopes alive. |

| Ablion are in good (gods) hands, as god TV leader was given rousing speeches around the ground (he lives in the area) It was a nail biting afternoon at Brickfields also listening to the radio commentary from roots hall. A spokewomen said Plymouth Albion were delighted to have a large number of Cornish Pirates supporters attend the game on Saturday to show their support for Albion FANS have pledged more than £10,000 to help save Plymouth Albion days after the club announced it was on the brink of going into administration. A Crowdfund initiative to help save Plymouth Albion has raised £5,000 in two days while money has poured in from fans on the ground. The appeal comes as it was announced the rugby club needs to raise £250,000 to avoid going into administration. Half the amount - £125,000 - has been offered by a mystery backer given the club can raise the rest of the cash, The Herald understands. A club spokesman said: “This weekend has proved monumental in the journey to turn the much-reported Plymouth Albion in a different direction. Within a matter of hours fans rallied their support, a fundraising campaign was launched, a vital win against Moseley was secured and the week was completed with Plymouth Albion in discussions with a possible new sponsor.” The club is currently in discussions with a new potential sponsor and those discussions will be ongoing throughout the coming week. Interested parties have also been waiting to see the level of support generated by the fans before they commit to confirming their further involvement. Given the positive response during Saturday's match, Plymouth Albion are hopeful that this will encourage further potential sponsors to come forward [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I |

I love listening to rugby union on the radio because I have no idea what's going on. "And Cholmondely-Smyth has cribbaged it to the fly-back. Here comes the number eight inside the hooker! Is he going to scrum the back row middle? Surely they're going to get tight heads unless they come in from behind? Oh no, Marmalade Butterworth-Toast has knocked it over!" |

| It's the Masonic lodge type rituals after the match that bear more scrutiny really, "and the number 8 is w***ing on a cream cracker, he's c*** all over it! Now the new winger from oop north is eating it!" oh what japes. |

| Plymouth Albion get administration deadline extension
Plymouth Albion have been granted an extension to find the funds they need to avoid going into administration. Albion, who are eight points adrift at the bottom of the Championship, will make a statement on their financial future on Friday, 16 January.
The club had until Wednesday to come up with £250,000 to see them through until the end of the season. Should the club go into administration they will be docked 20 points, effectively relegating them |

PLYMOUTH Albion have been granted a further two-week extension to stave off the threat of administration.
In a statement issued this afternoon, the club said it has filed a second notice of intention to appoint an administrator, giving them another 10 days to secure the club's futur
A spokesman said: "The board of Plymouth Albion Rugby Football Club Limited together with their professional advisors are continuing to work hard to secure the long term future of Albion.
"Positive negotiations continue but to enable them to reach their conclusion it has been necessary today for the Board to file a second notice of intention to appoint an administrator. This now provides a moratorium for a further ten business days.
"These negotiations are confidential and the board asks that this confidentiality is respected.
In the meantime the Board is immensely appreciative of the overwhelming support received from the people of Plymouth and further afield

The talk of restructuring board rather than there being a buy out by someone with ambition (Stop me if you think you've heard this one before) is less encouraging. |

The talk of restructuring board rather than there being a buy out by someone with ambition (Stop me if you think you've heard this one before) is less encouraging. Which is why Albion will be back in this postion again in the not to distant future. The shareholders at Albion never learn. |
