| What sort of crowds do they get?
I'm not particularly a rugby union fan, but I will feel a bit guilty if they go under without me ever having seen them. |

| the "struggling financially after ‘taking a degree of risk’ with their budget this season." smells too much of impending Admin sadly
perhaps Jimmy will jump in at the last minute and save them like he did for Argyle?? we all know how he gets all misty eyed and the thought of a plymouth institution failing.
He could get nool and co to keep away other potential buyers with a smear campaign on their "offical" message board too..
i'll get me coat. |

| Admin was bound to happen sadly if this is the case. that club has been so badly run over the last few years by the stubborn arseholes at the helm and it has reflected on the pitch with the way albion has gone from a premiership chasing club to arrow fodder for the championship to being rooted to the bottom of the league.
Hope they can find an owner(s) with contacts and money who knows what they are doing and not just to build on the carpark like our shower of an owner.
and for chris they went from an average of 4-5000 a game when they were pushing for the prem which is great for a non prem side to barely scrapping a 1000 today. that is due to a number reasons over the last few years but mainly the poor rugby played by Albion, the running of the club and exeter chiefs success attracting a number of ex albion fans to sandy park to watch prem rugby.

| Bleddy shame but they have been lumbering that way for ages. We badly need some investment in this area, not just Plymouth but the south west generally from here down. It's sad that a city the size of Plymouth just doesn't have enough cash to go around. Long live the minimum wage, hurrah! |

| Will be a shame for local suppliers who take a hit and don't suppose the players will be protected creditors like football, but hopefully a clean slate will let Bruce Priday and David Venables in with fresh ideas and investment. |

The Albion board should have took their offer when it was there but there stubborn nature had to lead to admin for the club. Its like Stirling is an alias of staplewallet. |

| Not quite. Got 'til wednesday for somebody to invest £250k to keep them gong for est of season.
The 20 point deduction for Admin would seal relegation and lose any potential new owners far more.

Very true! Sadly our long sighted Council evidently turned down a proposal that would have seen all that change and top flight rugby a real possibility. Plymouth, the graveyard of ambition. |

Plymouth, the graveyard of ambition. As i said on the other thread its a shame stirling never had the brass to beg the council for the money like brent does. |

| Graham Dawe absolutely loves Albion he's a proper solid bloke who doesn't suffer fools at all and he would work for feck all to save them. (Having said that he took a load of cash off them back along.) There were a load of players on high wages before they had their peak and since then it has all been decline. It's so similar to Argyle and Staplewallet it's untrue, if only people would listen to alarm bells instead of pretending they don't hear them.

the decline started during dawes reign. He was getting very stale in that role at the time so him leaving was for the best. pity the board didnt do the same. |
