Former Professional Footballers' Association chairman Clarke Carlisle is in hospital after being involved in a serious road accident on Monday. The ex-Burnley defender, 35, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirma

Days before. It doesn't mean he was pissed by the side of the road and walked into a truck.

If this has no relevance whatsoever to his injuries then it is another example how scummy our press is. Feckin leeches feasting on misery, gossip and hate.

that is indeed so but may explain why he was walking down the a64 affraid
havent seen anything suggesting he d broken down but not looked hard for it mind.

He should face charges for it, what about the lorry driver, poor blighter, what about if he'd swerved and taken out a family with kids, if you want to take the easy way out don't involve anybody else.
