Rather surprised at that.WBA had their best season at top level for over 30 years under Clarke last season, doesn't seem to take much for chairmen to pull the trigger in the current climate.Lost four in a row admitttedly but not really that far away from comfortable mid table which TBH is about the optimum level that the club can attain.

Hopefully 'twill be the first in a deluge of dull, boring Scottish tw@s.

I guess it will be either a Southampton or a Wolves job, I myself am a bit bored with the assembled tw@tery giving it the "calendar year" blocks which puts me in a room with Lawrenson, football goes in Seasons, yes I know I started a thread about krimble but that has nothing to do with football.

WBA finished 8th last time out and have a nett spend for the last three years of around ten million on transfers, I have no idea if they have a big wage bill, I may go and look it up later. This season they have had some great results agin the Biggies but been poor other times, it is a very tight race for the drop and a couple or three good results could have seen them in the clear. Might have been a personal issue or two with Pease, bit of a control freak apparently.
