I took my 18month old nephew out to the bar granny was not happy, but he and I did join the local football team pub crawl we all had a cracking night and the little one loved it. | Lifted all my spuds, cracking crop one of the best ever. Tomatoes are finally ripening well will have a full on glut by end of week. Beans are picking up now they have been disappointing. Loads of Bramleys and a good crop of desert apples also, picking, packing and storing now. |

| Well done Iggy. I also had good potatoes this year. Excellent beans, peas, sweet corn, carrots in particular. Greenhouse tomatoes have been glutting since July, but I tend to grow F1 cherry.. Blackberries and squash have been a disappointment. |

| Great Summer raspberries this year Pete. The big Autumn ones are just starting and looking excellent. A little manure and mulching, prune at the right time, and Bob's your chair.. A couple of weeks late though. I can't believe the price in shops. Freshly chopped fruit, inlaid with precious stones, and flown in overnight from the Carribean is half the price. Mad. |
