| The Premier League js the best league in the World (according to Sky TV) so it is fitting the league top scorer scored two tonight. Sadly, he was born in Uruguay.
I hope we're put out of our misery to be honest - watching England isn't fun at all and we're stinking up a tournament. We don't deserve to go through - miracles or not. |

| The frantic perming of results to get us through is laughable, can anybody confidently predict we'll even beat Costa Rica. I was watching Colombia and the Ivory Coast this afternoon and couldn't see us beating either of them and that could be said about a hell of a lot of the teams in Brazil.
I'll say it one more time...Pulis for England!!! |

And where do the talented young kids come from ? Has a player from Dagenham exeter or accrington ever played in the premiership? most players from those sort of clubs dont play higher than the championship, that wont help England. |

| I'm kicking myself for allowing my guard to drop regarding England. I got swept up in the performance on Saturday and just feel stupid for allowing myself to expect them to do it again. More frustrated at myself than England |

| Bbboooooaaaarrrrr! We were a team of two halves, one half has three decent players in the rest are has beens and wannabes. I thought we were better than that but letting the first cross in to Saurez was the beginning of the end. We don't know when to hold possession and shut up shop and when to go for it. FA should be disbanded, the premier league needs disbanding then look at football again as a whole with the national team in mind. If Holland and Germany can regularly field decent sides then so should we be able to. |

| Sven, £5million, crap. Crapello, £6million, crap. Woy, £3.5 million, crap.
Rooney, £15million, crap. Gerrard, £9million, crap. Hart £5million, crap.
Anybody see a pattern developing here?
I hated Woy from minute one, he was always the wrong man, his rep is based entirely on his stint as the Switzerland manager when they had a rare crop of fantastic players. He said he wouldn't take Rio Ferdinand and not play him, wtf was BFF all about then, he fecked off JT, the best defender we have, he went with Johnson and Baines even though they are patently out of form, he went without one midfielder that can take and give a pass without stopping for a cuppa, bugger, I could go on and on, yes I know I usually do.
Fecking Shrek. |

| I agree with most of what you say but Shrek put in the cross for fifty percent of our goals and scored the other fifty percent, not bad stats, you may not like him but he ain't the problem. |

Fecking Shrek. Will England go with another non-English manager again if RH were to resign or gets the sack. Brendan Rodgers has been banded about as a possible replacement ?.. I wrote an article for Rub of the Geens some 16 years ago slating the EPL and how it would ruin English football and the national side. My thoughts then have come to fruition now. It is embarrassing to see England go out so early and i can see England sliding down the World rankings even further. First time in 56 years that they have gone out in the group stage and a first for losing the two opening games. The FA are spineless and will not do a thing against the EPL as the national side sink deeper into the abyss. They (the FA) say that 2016 and 2018 are the real targets, brave comments if true.. I will cheer on Germany and Holland now, real teams with guts and desire to go out on to the pitch and win in style. |

And I have listened to numerous others make the same point, I just can't believe that you guys don't see how Shrek centric his inclusion makes the team. The reason we did reasonably well agin the Wops was, imho, because Shrek was way out on the left, out of the way, moving him back into the middle just fooked up what tempo and game play we had. He got one good ball into the box in 90 minutes agin Italy, how many decent balls in might Wayne Routledge have to say a strike duo of Lambert and Sturridge, you just watch how well they play together next season, Routledge is the outlier of course as he was never in contention, but he led the Prem on balls into the box and was well up there on actual "assists", not to mention that he knows how to cover his full back. The abject insanity of playing players like Shrek and Welbeck miles out of position and Sturridge and Sterling in a system they are not used to dumbfounds me, how often did you find yourself screaming at the tele last night as Sturridge picked up the ball wide covered by two defenders while there was no one at all in the box? All four of them want to play on the same piece of real estate and none of them are bright enough to do summat else when that space is taken. That in a nutshell is what I see as the "Shrek" problem, he is the same option as Sturridge and Welbeck, anyone of them played with Lambert, or Routledge, or Walcott, or Townsend is a decent option as each pairing in its way brings some order of balance, of course it isn't his fault that Woy picks such unbalanced teams, were he to leave out almost any of them the press would be on him like a pack of rats, but that ain't the point, he is paid feck loads to manage the team and he fails to do it at every turn. Gerrard/Henderson is the other foo up for which he should pay, they work fine with a play maker in full balls out mode with the Poo, but we don't have a Coutinho, a Lucas or even a Joe Allen and we certainly don't have anything that comes even close to a Suarez, so he picks a lump of Poo players and assumes that will work without the creativity or the spark of genius which took them close. Bottom line is that we never had the players to win it so taking Shrek and Gerrard who have gone so many times before to tournaments and been utter shite, along with BFF which was a joke, was Woy's call and it was so the wrong call, add to them Baines, Johnson and Jaggy who were all way out of form in the death of the season, then pick three keepers who wouldn't get close to replacing Ochoa 'the cat' in goal for Mexico, Smalling, Jones and Wilshere who have hardly played all season and it is easy to see the problem. What could I or anyone else do about it if offered the job a couple of months ago? Well probably feck all, the Ox and Jersey Joe were a big loss for both the Arse and England as Townsend was for Spurs and England, if everyone had been available and our coach had a clue how to put together a balanced side and then send them out to play with style and energy you wouldn't really have fancied us to beat any of the first tier sides, except that my own 'second' team, Chile, seems to be able to pull results together based on a team full of players that wouldn't interest many EPL clubs, they just have a settled balanced side, with a couple of stars, which turns up every game. My apologies once more for taking out my frustrations in your house, I need to go train now so will leave you alone for a bit, I hear Hairy and Franny sighing with joy, but feck 'em they're wankers, I'll be back to straighten you up once the season starts and your Cup Final is upon us. |

| It has just been announced on MOTD that RH is to stay on until 2016.
GD has said it is disappointing that England are going home early, but RH should be given another two years.
Costa Rica 1 Italy 0 so far....

Sorry, Changed it now... Italy are bloody terrible today. If they do go on to lose this game, they could end up being knocked out too if they also lose to Uruguay. That will be an interesting game. |

| Where Italy really good against England ......or where England just not good enough and made Italy look better than they really are ?
Honestly can't see England beating Costa Rica.....they could play us off the park.
The signs where there at Wembley.....when Chile out played us 2-0 with ease. |

Well we have RH for another two years and on MOTD they were saying England should go all out to qualify for and win the tournament in France . All the pundits were saying there is a future for England. Italy could well be coming home with us if they play like they did today when they play Uruguay next week. |
