Who does he think he's fooling? If there's any chance of him not going next season, it'll be because his AAA pass has expired due to invites to the Directors Box no longer coming his way from FES/FIL. Or a realisation from Brent that the Useful Idiot is actually no longer useful. Oh I do hope he doesn't stop going. If only because match times are the one time the rest of Plymouth can get on with their business, safe in the knowledge there's no risk of encountering him.
Worryingly, I see the idea of 'crowd-funding' the balloon payment's already cropped up. Seriously big buckets that'll need. IJN once said that if Tony Pulis came in as Argyle manager, he'd tear up his Season Ticket, and that such attiritonal football had no place in the game. Years later, not that anyone cared, I referred to it and he denied ever saying it, ever thinking it, and said I was lying. Fair play the bloke has been a supporter since the 1970s, but he threatens to stop turning up over some trivial things. Out of interest, how much is the balloon payment we will need to make? |

| Didn't Newell say he was going to Peru?
Did he keep that promise? Such fanfare on Pasoti a short time ago and was there even a mention of it when the walk actually happened last week!
PS. Well done Wozzer! |

PS. Well done Wozzer! So was Wozzer the only one to actually do it in the end? There's obviously some embarrassment over on the Farm as all there is to congratulate Wozzer is a little "well done" thread tucked away on terraces. |

If he did it, well done Wozzer - certainly get the vibe this guy has been left out to dry by his buddies!! |

| Usual nonsense from the fat controller, "let's pretend that everything is rosy in case people come to the (obvious) conclusion that it's not!" Not a direct quote I may add. for all his protestations about free speech he really doesn't like it does he? |

| Not to disparage Wozzer for doing it, but the Macchu Piccu trek is a bucket list lifetime experience.
People pay hundreds of dollars to do it.
I have never understood people treating it as some sort of ordeal, requiring bravery and courage. Doing that mate - bloody hell you lot are mental, here have £50! |

| The ones that approach him every match congratulating him are more than balanced out by the ones that shout out that he's a count. |

| How strange all his real friends are popping at all the "idiots" on his own site now. That was an honour proudly held by ATD for ages. |

| I love the way that Postey and his handler are trying to rewrite history here,
This thread is a bit of a watershed. I think people are fed up with the James Brent bashing and used this particular thread to defend him. There's been a campaign, sometimes nasty and sly, against him, and while some may still keep their opinions to themselves, others have had their say on this thread and defended James Brent.
His "crime" appears to be the next one in after Stapleton and co.
Those against him haven't come up with any credible alternative apart from the mythical sugar daddy. When the club exited administration we all knew the deal on the table.
The HHP development has its faults, as Don't Panic explains, but it's what we desperately need to get the football club on a sustainable footing.
No we didn't though did we Postey? We were told that Brent "was not a property developer" we had no idea about the HHP plans (well some of us guessed but were shouted down, had posts moved, deleted and some people were banned for saying that he was an asset stripper.) it must have taken about a year before the asset stripping and property development were unveiled to the public by which time we were told that he was an upstanding gentleman and there was no alternative. Lies spin and more lies, you are full of shit, you've been found out, Sussed out at least put your feckin hand up and admit it because it's all down in black and white and won't be forgotten. The rift between the fans can never be healed whilst this bum licking nonsense carries on, you and porky were and are still to blame for this you cretin. |

| Surely Postey doesn't have one scrap of credibility left...does he Nobody can take the propaganda he trots out with any kind of a straight face. Poor lad has been set up as the fall guy by his chum(boss) when the shit finally hits the fan. |

| Come now much as I like to stick the boot in to Nool when I can but Postey is his own man, a grown up, I hear loads of shite spoken all the time I make my own mind up whether to repeat or agree with it. The trouble is here with the yes camp is that once they took the position that Brent was the way to go then no matter what facts come to light then they bend those facts or dismiss them to suit their point of view. I guess that is true of the anti camp as well but I think there's the odd one cough b ri an gr... Cough that are just not that clever but I don't think you can say that Postey isn't that clever he just backed the wrong horse and can't admit it. As for Nool he backed the wrong horse and can't admit it and he's not too clever either. |

| The thing is iggy IJN has backed the wrong horse many times of late. But it does a a bigger man to admit his mistakes. |

| The least worst horse can never be the wrong horse (see signature).
Trick is to keep an open mind, and on the extremes of both sides that's lacking.
Nothing is ever 'all good' or 'all bad', there's always a sliding scale in between. Balance, a sense of proportion and understanding are what's required to spot it.
Battle lines have been drawn though and those caught in no man's land get shot at from both sides. All a bit childish really. |

Your "open mind", "sense of proportion" an "understanding" are all wedged astonishingly far up the backside of the banker, though. Can't see the shafting for the trees, etc. |
