| This club will go nowhere while the energy ( including, but not only, money ) is sucked out of the football and put toward personal property profit. The juxtaposition of a rock bottom football disaster set against Brent's personal asset strip will be too much for some to bear. |

| The austerity years are coming back to bite him now. Last year when the team was winning, it took the spotlight off his under investment. Now we're at rock bottom, fingers are starting to point at him, and even his 'dogs of wor' won't be able to deflect away from his money grabbing, asset stripping activities.
Realistically though, someone will have to buy him out. Can't see that happening. |

| The chap that Paul Buttivant represented when he was stopped from buying the club is now the owner of Everton! If only some fans had backed the right guy!
Shamelessly lifted from Darren Stoneman on the farm. There was no alternative to Brent though remember. |

| These so-caleed "dogs of wor" have teeth of putty. Puttoti has been going 20 odd years and not once has it been able to make a difference where it matters. And as to the last "wor" it was Ridsdale "wot won it". He played everyone to perfection, including a dumb fan or two. Only mouths in the ear of the present chairman at first hand at Home Park while he's scoffing will have any effect, and even then, Brent won't budge an inch until his profit is safely assured and shareholding returning a handsome wedge, and, who knows, maybe a stadium to rent out, along with a continuing friendly ticketing solution and all manner of add ons and hooks. In fact, maybe he'll sell the carcass for £1 as is happening more and more, but keep hold of the reins. Don't forget, originally, he wanted a chairman to do all the donkey work and take the flack, which Ridsdale was far too fly to accept. Maybe a Puttoti boardroom would suit him and Hallett, although that's less likely now there are at least some ordinary shares back on the balance sheet and a nice safe earning loan to protect. LOL Plenty of tricks to play yet. |

| Not sure where to put this so I'll leave it here as we won't add to the tally with Brent pulling the strings.
On talksport just now: Beating Brighton yesterday means that Arsene Wenger has been victorious against 45 different clubs in the PL (read top flight). Which means roughly half the teams throughout the top four leagues have been (or are) in the first division across the past two decades.
And by by reckoning that doesn't include Luton, Millwall, Oldham or Oxford who were up there around the cusp of the 90s. So around 50 clubs have played at the highest level in my Argyle supporting lifetime.
This sort of stat i find depressing. |
