I was at the wrong end of a pretty bad beating by Cardiff fans, I also had to run the gauntlet of getting kicked, Punched and spat on to get into Ahton Gate one time. I also cant stand Luton as a club, getting spat on by their fans from the blocks of flats disnt help that. If you have never had the hairs stand up on the back of your neck when a ground is overflowing with fans all singing their hearts out then maybe you don't get tribalism and maybe you are in fact the one that isn't a "proper" football fan?
You can keep your sanitised "family day experience" bollocks I would return to the all standing, proper tribal atmosphere that we used to have in an instant but I suppose that the ten years or so age difference between us means that you don't really know what I'm talking about? You'll have to ask a grown up about it you prick.

That's you crying because someone has Sussed out your modus operandi, there, there.

I've had a few run ins at football, Bristol city, rovers, Luton, Millwall, Chelsea, QPR, Man city and Swindon.

At Swindon I was walking with some of their fans after the game when some greens decided to have a go at us. I ended up decking one (Argyle fan) before the cops chased us. I followed the town fans to one of their houses and spent an hour or so chatting about football, then left to go home.

That's about the size of it. I dislike Portsmouth Cardiff and Luton more than any others, based chiefly on away day experiences in the 80's and 90's although some more recently at Home too. But I would still take those days a thousand times over compared to the sanitized 'match day experience' we're force-fed nowadays.

Agreed Czar, much less atmosphere and passion at football grounds these days, plus limited or nonexistent option for standing. Many unwilling to pay for this or simply priced out altogether.

You don't have a clue what went on with ss68 and myself - no idea at all. I think that you have missed my point Hairy, I was saying I don't like those clubs because their fans spat at me and punched me. I didn't like it. I didn't glorify it either.

Don't like to revel in any club's misery, hell we've been through enough.

But I do remember taking a 1 - 0 home defeat to Rovers back in the 90's pretty badly.
