| THE REFEREE - DARREN DRYSDALE (Lincolnshire) Darren Drysdale is sergeant at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, his appointment to this match is part of Argyle’s annual Armed Services Day.
Drysdale has shown 87 yellow cards and sent-off eight players in 27 games this season.
Scunthorpe view
Saturday’s trip to Home Park sees the Iron take on John Sheridan’s play-off chasing Plymouth Argyle. The Pilgrims have won five of their last seven and lie just outside the top seven spots, although they have a game in hand on Southend above them.
There has been 24 meetings between the two sides in total, and there is nothing to separate them as both have 12 victories over the other while the further three finished level.

Banton will be on the bench

| Scunthorpe always seem to score so we'll need two at least to win. 3 points from the next two home games is ok for me. 6 would be super. Blue skies over 'muff. |

| I apologise for getting a 3-line whip to attend a 90th birthday party (not my own) - I was going to attend this one.
And Allesandra hit the post just now. Maybe we can actually go for automatic promotion. |

| Simply not different gravy - sadly. Just another similarly tasteless ingredient in a stew of L2 offal. |

| I know i'm stupid...... but in order for PAFC to be a better team why doesn't the Chairman/owner BUY some more talented football players? |

LOL - I should imagine the reluctant one is looking down the back of the sofa for cash for his many other failing businesses. |

| People who didn't go will look at that game and think, Oh, deserves/easy win for Scunthorpe.
It wasn't, we worked them extremely hard, and I thought we were slightly better than them.
Not much between the sides.
Fantastic advert for L2 football. |
