| Should we help Torquay out with some loans? with 24hrs call back. This would keep our unuse squad players match fit
Quote from JS
Sheridan has a near fully-fit squad for the game against Rovers with the one exception being Jason Banton, who is still two weeks away from returning from a groin injury.
Banton picked up the problem in the 2-1 win away to Dagenham and Redbridge on February 22.
“Other than that, everyone is fit,” said Sheridan. “I have got a really strong squad.
“It’s disappointing one or two will be left out, and not even on the bench, but they are all fit and available and they are all wanting to play, which is good.”

| Yes. Unlike the fucktards who taunt our neighbours the strength of football in the peninsula is important. It does no - one any favours to see any of the three clubs relegated although I fear we're too late. |

| Sounds like a good idea they need as much help as possible at the moment. Also if we are to progress up the leagues we need other local clubs not to far behind us as a feeder for new up and coming talent. |

| it's too late, but yes we should help, our players get to achieve/maintain match fitness, i fear Torquay are doomed and loosing a league club is so bad for Devon - just WHO is that greensleeves fool? |

| Greensleeves - were you never taught such lessons as "treat others as you would want to be treated" "do the right thing" etc?
Wouldn't it be better to take the higher moral ground and of course give our squad players match fitness? |

| I sat near to a bunch of Torquay fans at the friends reunited match (whatever it was called) I also think that the mantra of who fought in the war or not is as tiring as its familiar. |

| Moot point; none of our players on the bench would be remotely useful to anyone in this league. |

| Blimey everyone is aggressive on this site.
Might as well send a few players over, maybe Branno, Thomas and Richards could help them out a bit? Keep them fit with 24 hours call back.. Might be worth a shot. |

(And if you don't start out that way you become so). Help out a neighbouring club? Now there's a novel thought. How would Northampton &, conceivably, Wycombe or Accrington feel about that? |

| I suppose that's true angry.
It's a shame really, I don't mind them. But they wont get out for a long time now..
Made a big mistake appointing Hargreaves, experience really is pivotal in that situation.
Probably they wouldn't feel good, but someone has to go down don't they, could you say by that logic Northampton shouldn't be allowed to loan players because those players are going to them and not to Torquay though?
It's not like we would be giving them anything massively impressive! |

Yes. (And if you don't start out that way you become so).

| We can't lose on this one.
If they go down we get a nice, convenient little destination to send players like Tyler Harvey so that they can get a few games in at a goodish competitive standard and if they stay up we get a couple of local derbies to spice the season up a bit.
Torquay has become one of those clubs likely to yo-yo in and out of the football league but I can't help but wish them well and hope they stay up. |

They passed on their share of a psf with us when we were up Shiite Creek and couldn't find the paddle. I wouldn't want them to take the drop, no really I wouldn't. |
