Speaking for myself, no one "did anything in the war" because they didn't want to stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Newell. Simple. And right from the start he had spouted and marked those "from London" and others, such as a very nascent Trust, as competitors in his grab for influence. I see today, he's now back to kicking the Trust again. He's so counter productive.

I went to one of their very well advertised so called demonstrations. A massive turnout of some 40 souls. Hopeless, so much for the Pasoti massive. A total waste of time and effort, as Newell and co were more interested in buttering up Tony Campbell ( not in the Biblical sense ) rather than laying down some arguments and pressure.

It's nothing to do with who did what in the war. It's more to do with what is the right thing to be doing now - and if you disagree with newell you are anti club. I did the contingency group and i did the GTs because I thought it was the right thing to do for me so I played my part and I still think he's a prick.

Funny that Winter Green because I have access to written evidence that Peter Jones became disillusioned with the Stapleton/Janner mentality because they so distrusted the London "up the line" connection.
