The first quote, who said that? I'm unaware of point 2. Point 3 from who, when? I don't think Chris said he would resign. The next 8 points in that very long paragraph all seem to be personal issues with one and other rather than anything truly wrong with the way things are run at the club - other than the final point about the new stand, but that's just one person's opinion over another. All these petty falling outs and the history between ATD and Pasoti needs to either be dealt with in a more appropriate manner or just left alone to be civil. All the insults and unsubstantiated personal attacks, from both camps, are unnecessary and quite pathetic.

That's not true, Hans. My account shows maybe 50 different IPs. I dunno why. I am just a lone keyboard warrior sat all alone banging away at my keyboard. The most I've evr done is move it from one room to another.

Spowelly, you really ought to educate yourself as to the history of what Ian Newell has done and said in the past. Your unawareness of point 2, the white feather,  is a classic example of you speaking when not in full possession of some pretty heavyweight facts.

I had hoped it would tweak the moral coding for one or two and provide an understanding of the characters that now have a limited control over certain areas of the Club but it seems to have been missed by you, unfortunately. You're assuming that I have a responsibility to inform you, I don't.

I am not asking you to accept my word for anything but I will ask you to research by asking others, read backdated forums, contact the AFT and talk to others etc. etc. Once you have done that you should be able to reach a logical and rational opinion yourself. No mate, it isn't in the slightest bit unsubstantiated. It was a little while ago now but Thai Greens (RIP) partner(?) left a message on here after he died saying how upset he was by Newells sickening gesture. That is a point of fact, not rumour conjecture or hearsay. I'm sure one of the Mods could probably dig it out along with the original response from Newell that "he needed telling".

That's the sort of Pondlife we're dealing with here.

Ah but Cpl Jones would have known the reference because he fought the fuzzie-wuzzies in the Sudan. And as any student of film history would know the film "The Four Feathers" was built around the idea of someone being given white feathers as a symbol of cowardice. And like Jones, the hero of that film wasn't a coward either.

Spowell, one of the logical conclusions of what you are suggesting is that if you weren't there you can't know it's true. I haven't seen all of the evidence myself but I have seen some of it and more. I do agree with you that Chris Webb actually didn't say he would resign but that's to take one wrong accusation and generalise from there.

TBH I never saw anyone 'actually deepthroating' anyone to get a position of but I'm told that GOB has the photographs taken with a hidden camera. (That's meant to be humorous with a touch of artistic licence not to be taken literally).

I don't think either of those weaken the words.

Interestingly, I see that Martyn Starnes in this morning's Herald said something along the lines that he is unhappy that some of his words have been misquoted & taken out of context and that people don't have all the facts right on the fans web-sites. I have much more sympathy with that. There are lies, damned lies and internet facts. Often they aren't started intentionally but they become embedded and the half-truths become insidious. If challenges are to be made it's important to do it based on truths. I think neither I nor a lot of people manage that often enough.

Views which have no substance what so ever like SFD's views on three people owning PASOTI, or indeed how much IJN paid for it.I will continue to challenge those views.Looking for a row is not my style nor is petty name calling which is just plain childish.

Plus, I will continually challenge all the others who continually knock the club and all those associated with it.Thats not trolling.If you want to play silly games then carry on. It just makes you look even more immature.

Internet facts can take on a life of their own at times.....and can cause the opposite result when unproven....proof that cannot be discredited is hard to get. If not proven it will undermine the argument and you will lose any resemblance of being believed.....and no one will take you seriously in future.

Just wondering how you know for certain about Newell's ownership details of Pasoti? Is it just something he has told you, therefore being one man's word against another, or do you infact have written evidence?

So Mr Greensleeves, you will challenge all who continue to mock the club and all those associated with it, I aint mocking the club, i doubt for economics (Devon is poor) that we can be more than a half decent leauge one/sometimes championship side but i love seeing PAFC do well. However i WILL mock Nool, Webb, and Brent.............. so challenge all you like.

Logic and common sense is easy to say...... but what are the facts about anything.....neither PASOTI or ATD can claim the true facts on everything.
 
On PASOTI I have had comments whisked away and hidden in out of the way spots,where it will not be in full public glare......underhand comes to mind.
 
On ATD I have had comments at times blitzed with foul mouthed attacks,because it ain't the party line and told in very clear terms to sod off even by a mod once..... and also my identity revealed to PASOTI by another poster...definately not on.
 
So how do you find out the truth.....one persons word against anothers...it not easy.
 
If some of the things that supposed to of happened have happened...then court cases would of been given evidence surely.....  convicting any wrong doers and so be it.
 
There seems to be too many agendas going on and you cannot be sure who is telling the truth.
 
Please believe me...I'm not calling anyone a liar who have issues with certain people....but cast-iron facts are not always possible to aquire.
