| Sat here with a cup O tea watching early morning Sky news. Christ on a bike. Talk about doom and friggin gloom. Syria, Turkey, Car bombs, executions, IRA, Home-grown Jihadists, Bombs in India, Nigeria, Ukraine forces launching full-scale attempt to regain control from pro Russian seperatists. When all's said and done - we really haven't moved on a lot from these feckers, have we? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Presumably, just as the woman had sex with someone she had just met, the man was in a similar situation also?

| In more airborne news two mates of mine are traveling round the world on an open ticket, after about eight months in Aisa they got to Oz pretty skint but managed to get some good paying work and topped up the piggy banks. They then got pissed on the plane to New Zealand which they described as a "right laugh" and got fined $600nz when they landed for being inebriated on an aircraft! Both skint again, wankers. |

Sorry if this is an inappropriate thread. Clearing out the attic yesterday I came across a 1970s sex offenders register.then realized it was the Radio Times. |

Sorry if this is an inappropriate thread. As their offences are historic, they're convicted based upon the historic laws. e.g. if Mr X indecently assaulted his victim in 1965 and the law was maximum 2 months in 1965, that cannot be overidden ifthe maximum has increased since. Actually, the Max Clifford case was underpinned by his 'celebrity' and relationship with the media - it inferred in the judge's notes that it polarised the sentencing. |

Civil war in Ameryka is about 10-15 years away. Political parties, race against race, rich against poor, anarchists against the establishment. Not long. I'm glad I won't be around to see the world implode, saying that, watching the news, it's not far off now, is it? Viva mi muerte. |

So if someone was convicted of a historic murder that was committed when there was still a death penalty for such acts could they still be hung today ? |
