I agree - cup final tie breaker! Well, Freathy... With both of us predicting a Gunners win, but not with the correct score, it was... Close, but no cigars for either of us! Pete is not around, I don't think he is too well? But surely he would want us to carry on among ourselves? So are you up for 'the Championship' final? I go: QPR 2 Derby 1 Get well Pete!! |

| Good idea Rickler. If Freathy can forecast the Qpr and Derby game as a tie breaker then we will hopefully see a winner. If neither of you get this one then we have other games to use! The way it is going you could be forecasting on the 1st game of the 14/15 season as a tie breaker. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Welcome back Pete!
MVL..
If freathy also wants to predict QPR to win, then we can predict further matches. If he chooses Derby or a draw at the end of normal play then there will be no need to. |

| Are you up for it again this season Pete or are you still recuperating ? It must be quite taxing working out the scores and league positions after every match and I wouldn't expect you to commit to another season unless you felt 100% fighting fit. No pressure mate, just curious, someone else might be prepared to give it a try if you're not going to, the season starts one week today Best Wishes, Asti. |

Basically record all the forecasts and award points (a) for a correct score 3 points. (b) for a correct result 1 point. You tell us what you would like to do about extra time and penalty shoot outs for cup games. Bonus points for naming scorers? |

| Ok.
For predicting the correct score, 3 points. For predicting the correct result, 1 point. For naming the correct scorer, 1 and a half points. For extra time in cup games, half a point for the correct score at the end of the 30 minutes. For predicting penalty shootouts, half a point for the correct penalty shootout score.
I will do the phases and will do a league table every three months (but I will give you updates on a regular basis, once a month).
So at the end of each three month spell, the top two will go into the final at the end of the season. I suggest that the Play-Off Semi-Finals and Play-Off finals (including the Conference) will be a good choice.
For this, i will do a mini league of six people and after all the prediction results are concluded, we will have a final winner. |
