I allow this just this once, but not again. As once you have made a prediction it must stick.
Note to all. If you change your predictions, a point will be deducted from your current total. why the sudden rule change when you early stated it was fine up to kick off? - VillageGreen wrote:

I was going to allow people to call it up to 3:05pm or 7:50pm, but after giving it great thought, i know that it would create or cause utter whinging.
I am at present thinking about throwing in an extra surprise bonus [or two] for the latter stages of the season, probably phase three when only two more people will be chasing the final two finalist places. I have some ideas in place. |

I am at present thinking about throwing in an extra surprise bonus [or two] for the latter stages of the season, probably phase three when only two more people will be chasing the final two finalist places. I have some ideas in place. You had already made a prediction, as had everyone else. Then you asked if you could alter that prediction, which i allowed. The post you refer to is for first time predictions only and does not suggest that a person can change a prediction whenever. I think it fair not to have people altering predictions, because it would lead to chaos if one and all started changing predictions willy-nilly. Perhaps i should have made that clearer in that original post than i did. I am pretty fair on people missing a prediction, meaning they will not be kicked out of the competition. There is still plenty of matches that they can get points from.

Anyway I think it is good of VG to take the trouble to do the league. That avatar is something else. It really strikes the eye when scrolling down the page. I think i am being fair with not allowing people to change a prediction. Perhaps that can be allowed next season, on the lines that you can change your original prediction once and once only. |

That may be, but i just can't see Argyle fluffing this up. They (Carlisle United) beat three other teams who are down in the bottom part of L2, Argyle on the other hand find themselves in the top seven, with one of the best defences in the league. Some will say it has got 0-0 written all over it. Seriously though, i think 4-0 is fair shout.
