Put 4 goals away v a side that may well be in the Championship next season. Deserved to win both matches. You got beat which makes you....LOSERS! Suck it up and take it like a man FFS. |

| To think they BATTERED us 4-0 with a poorer side than that and a club in admin.
An absolute testament to the Sheridan Revolution - as that game was Shezza's first glimpse at the shower of shite he was now contractually obliged to manage. |

| Sheridan has got is playing some good football, no doubt about it, anyone that questions this has not been for a while. On the pitch progress is evident. |

Suck it up and take it like a man FFS. I am taking it like a man. Just here to smash down any ideas of this loss having any parallels with the league. Scored 4 goals vs a decent defence, hit the post, missed a pen and an open goal. But conceded 5 with a 17 yr old at LB and the reserve keeper in goal. If this is us when we're out of form 'LOSERS' I can't wait to see us when we are playing well. |

| Completely agree with those posters who claim progress is being made, Large strides in the right direction are evident on the pitch. Credit goes to Sheridan who is doing a good job in difficult cicumstances, Given the chance to bring in a couple more quality players at this level i'm confident we can continue to creep up the league table, Here's hoping. |

| The attendance figure given out seemed low (I heard it as 6400)?
I turned up at 1930 and there were still massive queues to get in (I missed the first goal as still outside). At some point the Lyndhurst ran out of tickets so a lot of people went in without tickets (so were they included in the head count?). I personally thought the attendance was above 8k.
Don't Argyle only receive 45% of the gate income also (for FA Cup)?
We played well in the first half and should have scored more than 2. PV were excellent second half/ we were quite poor. I thought Vassell looked good in the first, but struggled in the second and should have been taken off earlier (although Thomas did not do much more).

| BTW,forgot to mention Hourihane's performance last night.Superb, aggressive forward running and astute passing the like of which has not been seen in an Argyle midfield since the days of Nalis and Norris.Apparently there were men wearing shades, trilbies and crombies watching him at the first Port Vale match, hope they weren't there last night otherwise it could be a problem holding onto him in this window.Whether his current style is anything to do with the presence of Blizzard alongside him to do the bits and pieces and tidying up i don't know but he certainly seems a different player from his former self.Great stuff and long may it continue. |

| Truth is we beat ourselves, the body language that Reid gave off as he ran up for the penalty gave every indicator he would'nt score and Alessandras miss even worse he had an open goal. But we gave them a hard game we could of, should of won it - but we did'nt. Time to move on! |

I don't think there are many managers that could have improved the team position with the present off the field activities being in such turmoil and so unscrupulously run. Sheridan deserves huge credit for that and if he continues I expect it will not be long before he leaves us for a more stable position at a club where the off field position matches his on the field ambition. |

| Would be churlish for anyone at the moment to suggest that Sheridan has not dramatically turned things around given the level of performance over the last several games. Disappointing result last night obviously, but the level of performance and committment was high. The guy is clearly doing a good job - happy to support him. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] How is it that the Inland Revenue never manages to investigate wealthy owners of football clubs when there are concerns that they are fiddling the figures of their businesses? If it was the window cleaner earning a few quid on the side he would have his name splashed all over the Herald and a TV documentary made about him. |

| I heard at last night match from a reliable source who had the information passed to him from the Market shoe slipper man that Argyle will signing the Crystal Palace Left Back and a non league striker (15 goals) this week. |

| Well, it certainly now seems beyond doubt that the figure quoted last night was incorrect. To be fair, while only the club know the real figure, I would suggest that what was quoted publicly is not necessarily what the club will declare to the taxman or the FA for that matter. In fact it has huge historical precedence as paid up ST holders were NOT always counted in the public attendance figures for so long, and I very much doubt any club and a succession of owners would have deliberately under stated attendances to HMRC for decades.
Should be an easy one for Jimmy to correct through his new mouthpiece, Pasoti. Should act as the perfect example of his much lauded openness and transparency. I expect Pasoti, the PASB and AFT will be falling over themselves in the rush to be the ones that got to the bottom of it. |

Sounds more like a revolution than an evolution. Have we gone from unable to score but don't concede to a more gung ho we will just outscore the opposition? |

Oh sorry, I didn't realise you had beaten Man Citeh, oh, no you didn't, you lost at home to fooking Port Vale, they are two places below Peterboro who lost at home to Kiddy, a non league side. Vale have got the 17th best defence out of the 24 teams in the third division and are also 17th in the form table. You did the hard work up there and got yourselves a shot at lucrative tie with Brighton, last night you pussied up, rolled over and blew it, rolling out these lame ass excuses just makes you look a pussy as well. |

| On a separate point i have just watched the highlights, if we were not wearing the white shorts and socks it would have been difficult to tell the 2 teams apart with our dark green and the black shirted Vale. |
