Here we go then, a 4th round home tie against Brighton awaits the winners.

I'm not overly confident about this one but at least we can all stop bitchin' and talk about football for a while..........maybe.  jocolor

It's raining heavily, it's very cold. I'm staying at home tonight. I hope they win though. Fingers crossed.if we get through, that prize money is £67,500.

Beat Brighton and it's £90,000.

5,000 tops tonight.
DD Season ticket holders have to pay at the point of delivery tonight. That'll be a thousand of them not turning up then. Very Happy
If it weren't for the current regime, I would be up there tonight.
There seems to be a lot of blaming the referee lately, especially if Argyle don't win. Maybe Pasoti can make an official complaint to the referees association that not enough due respect is being given to Jimmy's boys ?
It would be a bonus for the playing staff to get a good win tonight. I fancy it might be penalties.

I see nothing but a vale victory, with a decent crowd behind them i would have fancied argyle tonight, but eighteen quid stopped any chance of a big hostile crowd.

Argyle: Cole, Berry, Trotman, Nelson, Purrington, Gurrieri, Blizzard, Hourihane, Alessandra, Vassell, Reid.

Argyle subs: Blanchard, Boco, Young, Wotton, Thomas, Richards, McCormick.

Cole keeps his position in goal and rightly so imo. COME ON BHEYS  cheers

Banton cup-tied (?) Odabeyi and Lavery gone, Morgan injured. Still a pick out of left-field though. Also notice Richards is back on the bench instead of Branston. He got good write-ups in the few appearances he has had. As for Branston, perhaps he's on his way?

I class Vassell in the same mould as Lecointe, one of those lads that has been here long enough to know if hes the real deal or not.
Edit to add Tyler Harvey surely is available?!!

The word on the street is that the Vale defence are vulnerable to being run at with pace, so maybe Sheridan is taking a gamble with Vassell because of his pace. Would have seemed more sensible to start with Boco and bring Vassell on as sub if necessary, but we shall see. Adds another bit of interest to the game.

Isn't Harvey still at Salisbury?

I think Harvey might have been registered for Salisbury when the initial tie happened, so is unavailable under some arcane FA Bye-law for the replay (but would be available for the next round). Harvey played for us against Lincoln in the first round, so he can't be cup-tied.
