Joking aside if we can somehow get past Vale, then it's a decent home tie. I'd quite fancy going to their new place if we could scramble a draw too. The impetus behind Fans Reunited had nothing to do with anybody connected to Home Park. It all came from Brighton in return for an idea started by an Argyle fan years and years ago when Brighton were nearly finished. If there was anything noble to emerge from our troubles it was the Fans Reunited day when Brighton fans, and others, came down and gave us a little boost when our hopes were all but non-existant. I was glad they did then and I'm still gladdened by it happening now. There's plenty that deserves ire and cynicism in both Argyleland and the wider world of football beyond but Fans Reunited is right up there with the tiny glimmers of hope that encourage me that all is not totally lost. That said if we get past Port Vale I hope we beat 'em 5-0 and I would never buy one of those halfie-halfie scarves under any circumstances. |

| Just a thought, if and a big if, we somehow beat Port Vale, will Sheridan play McCormick or Cole in nets? Id be fecking pissed off if were Cole having played in 3 rounds to get dropped for the 4th. |

| port vale are 1-0 up
Besides if we ended up winning this or not a home tie against brighton isnt going to get the cash registers ringing is it. |

| Sounds like we're having the better of the match, but they've snatched a goal on the break. |

| Angry getting to the 4th round and playing Brighton would mean a crowd of 10k+ I reckon, plus it's all extra cash not budgeted for. I think Brighton at home isn't a bad incentive. |

| Seems like we are still in the game despite being a goal down, the commentators mentioned the fact that nobody picked up the Vale player for the goal which brings into question Coles command of the area once again. Not beyond us this one but i reckon if we concede again its curtains. |

But if you take it that any FA Cup gate money plus prize money is unbudgeted (which is usually the case) then scraping a draw at Vale, beating 'em in a replay then scraping a draw at home to Brighton, in turn netting us a share of a decent gate at the Amex is not to be sniffed at. The would equate to three rounds worth of prize money wins, in addition to a share of gate money at 7 games. All academic mind as Vale are now 2 up... |

And if we drawed Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd/City or Liverpool we would have a sell out crowd AND be on tele meaning a wealthy of extra cash to pay some of brents clusterfuck with change left over for Sheridan to have ONE player in on short term contract. Brighton dont have that pulling power but anyways we are 1-0 behind so this is all coulda woulda shoulda lol

| Webb's now following me on twatter because I said Mrs Purse is a pug ugly minger.
I only use twatter to wind up Webb anyway but now I know I have a captive audience I'll use it more.
Anyhoo unless we were playing against a strong wind it's now looking unlikely that we'll make the next round now.
Still at least we're not West Ham I suppose. Big Sam must be preparing to get called into a meeting with the chairman first thing in the morning. |

| I'm strangely not that bothered, yes the extra finance would've been nice for Lord & Lady B but i'll be happier if we can keep our promising league form going. |

If we did beat vale and brighton, then got drawn away to arsenal, it would still be freebies and loans from the non developing developer. |
